14. FACE TO FACE MEETING

Sulakshana, Chandrakanta's 3rd aunt asks why he is missing her and wants to have a conversation with her. She then remembers that some time back, she was ill and Timmarasu, her husband went looking for physicians.

She tells the matter to her husband and asks Chandrakanta to give her a moment. She writes a small letter and gives it to Timmarasu signalling him to pass the message to Chandrakanta. He does so and Chandrakanta shows him purposely what his wife wrote..

'Mai swasth (healthy) hu mujhe yaad (miss) mat kijiye..'

'Vaise choti chachi, kya aap mujhe iske peeche ka kahani nahi batayenge..? Jaise ki us vyakti ka naam, aapka aur unka purv (past) mei kya rishta hai..' Chandrakanta asked.

'Vo bahut lamba kahani hai..' Her aunt replied.

'Koi baat nahi.. Mai bahut dhyaan se sun rahi hu..' Chandrakanta says and comes in between her aunt and uncle, facing her aunt and pushing her uncle a bit back.

'Jab log kehte hai ki vo ek lamba kahani hai tho isse unka yeh tatpary (means) hai ki vo us vishay mei baat nahi karna chahte kyunki unhe us vishay mei baat karna uchit nahi lagta..' Her aunt said.

Chandrakanta then asks why Prithvi Vallabh doesn't relay the message himself. Her aunt replies that when she was young, she being innocent once asked the man that neither he, his family or his disciples will talk with her and being an obedient man, he obeyed her and till now, he obeys her.

'Vaise tum yeh batao ki Prithvi Vallabh se tumhara parichay kaise hua..?' Sulakshana asked.

'Vo... *pause*... EK LAMBI KAHANI HAI..' Chandrakanta said.

'Natkhat balika.. (Naughty girl)..' Sulakshana said and they both laughed.

'Kya aap logon ne vivechan (investigate) kiya jis baare mei maine aap logon ko vivechan karne ke liye kaha..?' Virendra asks.

'Wadiyar pariwar ki choti kumari, rajkumari Jaganmohini ke liye uphaar (gift) lene gayi thi.. Rajkumari Jaganmohini ne unhe bhi nyota (invitation) diya hai apne janmdin ke dawat pe..' Das said.

'Wadiyar pariwaar ki choti kumari ke vishay mei kisne pucha..?' Virendra asks turning back at Das with a serious face.

'Maine rajkumar Siddhsen ke vishay mei pata lagane ko kaha tum dono se.. Kya vo aaj kal Vyom Jalpangruh mei aata jaata hai..?' Virendra questioned.

'Humne unpar kai dinon se nazar rakha hai.. Vo aaj kal kumari Champa Gadhavi ke saath waqt bitate hai..' Nakush answered.

'Ha.. Use tho apne yudh samagri ka vyaapar karne hetu use yudh samagri ki avasyaktha tho hai hi aur use Gadhavi pariwaar se yudh samagri bahut hi saral roop se prapt honge..' Virendra commented.

'Kya rajkumari Jaganmohini ke dwara bheja hua nimantran patr (invitation card) tumhare paas hai..?' Virendra asked Das.

'Nahi.. Maine use bahut pehle hi fek diya..' Das replied.

'Das..' Virendra called him lovingly keeping his hand on his shoulder and with respect asked..

'Ab tumhare ghav kaisa hai..? Kya tumhe dard ho raha hai..?' Virendra asked.

'Shrimant.. Keval 10 khode (rods) hi tho the.. Maine dawa laga liya hai tho ab dard nahi ho raha hai itna..' Das replies.

'Tho jao aur 10 khode (rods) aur khao..' Virendra said and turned his back towards his bodyguards.

'Paranthu kyun..? Ab kya kiya maine..?' Das asks.

'Tumne ek atyant hi mehetv purn praman (very important evidence) fek diya hai..' Nakush said.
