Nakush looks at a carriage and says that it's the Wadiyar family's carriage, so Virendra turns back and sees Chandrakanta and Sharda looking out of the carriage.

A soldier comes and informs Virendra that Charulatha, his stepmom came to his residence, so Virendra asked everyone to return to his residence.
On the other hand, Chandrakanta and Sharda get down and reach a shop. The shopkeeper says that they hadn't prepared their gift yet while Prithvi Vallabh came at the same time.
Prithvi Vallabh came near them when Chandrakanta asked him when he would recite poems again as she was missing his poems. He said that it was just a poetic essay and he was doing that on somebody's request. He then asks Chandrakanta if she is free and he can recite poems with her. Then he asks whether they can talk alone in private.
Chandrakanta comes there and meets him privately and Prithvi asks her whether she delivered his message to her aunt or not. She says that she didn't as it doesn't feel good and they talk about words being like arrows and Chandrakanta replies that she doesn't have an arrow let alone a bow.
Pruthvi then says that if she is not willing to deliver his message, he has his own ways to do so. He also adds, that if she delivers the message, he will repay it in the future. Chandrakanta asks if he can do anything.. Prithvi replies that he will do anything except for betraying his country, his family and virtues and marrying her.

'Aapne kaha nahi paranthu aap jo kar rahi hai use dekh kar tho yahi pratit hota hai ki aap mujhe aapke peeche ghumana chahti hai taaki mai aapki aor aakarshit (attract) hoke aapse vivah karu.. Aur yadi aisa nahi hota tho aap ab tak apne chote chachi ko hamara sandesh se avgat (inform) karati.. Uske paschat aap apne raaste jaate aur mai apne raaste par..' Prithvi Vallabh said.
'Uchit kaha aapne.. Aisa karti hu mai aaj raatri ko hi apni choti chachi ko sandesh pahunchaungi.. Aapko mera dhnyawaad karne ki avasyaktha nahi hai..Iske paschat aap apne raaste aur mai apne raaste..' Chandrakanta said.
'Uchit hai.. Yadi meri choti chachi ko koi apatti (problem) nahi hai tho mai sandesh pahunchati rahungi.. Paranthu yadi unko apatti hua tho mai koi sandesh nahi pahunchaungi.. Aur umeed karti hu ki hum dono ki bet phir kabhi na ho..' Chandrakanta said and left.
'Is vishay mei nirnay (decision) lene ka adhikar (right) tumhe nahi hai, yeh nirnay sirf mai lunga (You don't get to make a call here, I'm the one who can make a call here..)' Prithvi Vallabh said and smirked a bit.
On the other hand, Charulatha entered inside along with Nakush and Das. She says that the house is so cold and deserted, no flowers and plants are seen.. She also says that not even a single maid (female) is present to take care of Virendra Singh. She then asks where he is.. Virendra comes and says that he likes peace and asks what she is doing there..?
Charulatha replies that they are a family and she is his stepmom. She reminds that Virendra called her aunt once when he was young. Virendra then replies that not after so long, she took advantage of his and Pushpavalli's (Viru's mom) disappearance and got physical with Marich and married him thus becoming his stepmom.
Charulatha then says that he doesn't need to suffer alone just because he hates his parents. She then says that he has everything except for a lovely wife and she informs him about Princess Jaganmohini's feelings and asks him to treasure the relationship. She gives him the Princess Jaganmohini's birthday banquet invitation card and Das accepts it. Nakush looks at Das like, "you shouldn't have done this".
Viru asks to see off his stepmom while she says that she hasn't done, yet soldiers surround her and being afraid, she says she's done and leaves from there.
'Shrimant, kya hum rajkumari Jaganmohini ki janmdin ki dawat pe jaa rahe hai unka janmdin manane..? Rajkumari Jaganmohini ne aapke sauteli mata dwara aapko nimantran patr (invitation card) bheja..' Das said.
'Jaake dhand swarup mei 10 laati khao..' Virendra said. (Go and get yourself flogged for 10 times as a punishment).
'Haan.. *Realisation* Paranthu kyun..?' Das asked looking at Virendra.
'Maine kuch anuchit (wrong) kiya kya..?' Das asks looking at Nakush.
'Agli baar kisi vastu ko sparsh (touch) karne se purv dhyaan rakhna yadi tum apne nitamb (buttocks) ko yathavath (intact or perfect)) rakhna chahte ho tho..' Nakush commented, Das looked at the invitation card.
'Maine yeh kyun kiya..?' Das said to himself.
Prithvi then comes to his house and meets another scholar who keeps a marriage proposal to Prithvi with his sister, however Prithvi refuses the marriage proposal mocking the another scholar making him to leave in anger.
Prithvi's maid enter inside and says that he is 21 years old and he needs to marry. Prithvi then tells his maid that his parents despite being married for 20 years barely talk. He adds that for people, marriage is like an icing made on the top of a cake, while for women, it's dependency while for him, it's nothing and it doesn't benefit in anyway, so he will not marry.
On the other hand, Sulakshana and Timmarasu (choti chachi and chacha) were having a lovely time together when Chandrakanta barges in, asks her uncle to leave them alone as she want to talk alone with her aunt.
Timmarasu replies her can't she see that her aunt is busy right now.. You can tell the matter later.. However, Sulakshana asks Chandrakanta to come inside and asks her to ignore her uncle. Chandrakanta says that she wants to talk with her alone and looks at her uncle.
Sulakshana says that Timmarasu knows everything about her and she can say anything. Chandrakanta then tells about Prithvi Vallabh asked her to relay a message to her (Sulakshana). She said that at first Prithvi sprouted nonsense poetic essay and then she says that an old friend misses her and he wants a small conversation with her.
Timmarasu then remembers that Prithvi Vallabh is the disciple taken by Sulakshana's ex-lover. Sulakshana looks at Timmarasu while Chandrakanta can't understand anything.
