Master Kohga, a formidable foe. At least that's what he says.

When Link first jumped through the chasm in the road in Central Hyrule, he was prepared for a lot of things. New monsters, different plants and wildlife, ancient civilizations, oceans of gloom were all things he was prepared to see down there, and he ended up seeing all of them eventually.

One thing he wasn't prepared for, however, was the master of the Yiga Clan, tormenting a construct in an abandoned mine.

Link's first through upon seeing the guy was to laugh out loud, and he almost did. He thought he was done with master Kohga, but not such luck, apparently.

Link, simply wondering how long this would go, snapped the old guy out of his trance. He twirled around and, after a moment of annoying and entertaining monologue, declared a fight.

He was worn down enough to retreat in a few minutes, without Link breaking a sweat.

After that, the interactions were similar. The fights were easy, if on different turain each time. Link hardly broke a sweat, while master Kohga couldn't go longer than a few minutes, even if all he did was drive a boat.

And every time, Link wondered if the old guy would ever get tired of chasing him, or seeing his footsoldiers come back to their base bloodied from losing fights, or looking for leads Link would always beat them too. If nothing else, it was entertaining, he supposed.

It was either this, or super heavy angst, and I wasn't in the mood for angst, so here you go.
