AUTHOR POV :-
The taxi sped through the bustling streets of Busan, Y/n couldn't help but feel a mixture of anticipation and anxiety. Today was the day she and Sana had chosen to resign from their jobs at the company. It wasn't an easy decision, but they both felt it was necessary, especially with the changes that lay ahead.
Y/n gazed out of the window, her eyes taking in the familiar sights of the city. The streets were bustling with people going about their daily routines, and the salty sea breeze filled the air, providing a sense of comfort amidst the uncertainty.
Sana noticed Y/n's quiet contemplation and gently placed a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder. "Hey, Y/n, are you okay?"
Y/n turned to Sana with a faint smile, her thoughts still swirling. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about how much everything is changing. Leaving our jobs, you getting married, and oppa starting a new chapter. It's a lot to process."
Sana nodded in understanding. "I know what you mean. But remember, change can bring new opportunities and adventures. Besides, you're not alone in this. We'll face these challenges together."
Y/n appreciated Sana's support and the bond they shared. It had been a long journey from ilsan to Busan, and they both knew that it marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
The taxi came to a halt in front of their office building. Y/n and Sana exchanged a determined glance, and with resolute expressions, they stepped out of the vehicle and walked towards the entrance.
Once inside, they made their way to the human resources department to submit their resignation letters. Y/n took a deep breath before handing her letter to the HR manager. "I want to thank you for the opportunities and experiences I've gained while working here. But it's time for a new path in my life."
Sana followed suit, offering her resignation letter as well. "I'm grateful for my time here, but I have a new journey ahead, and I want to fully commit to it."
The HR manager accepted their letters with a kind smile, understanding that sometimes change was necessary. "We appreciate your contributions to the company and wish you both the best in your future endeavors."
Y/n and Sana exchanged determined glances as they handed in their resignation letters. This was it, the final step before they moved on to the next phase of their lives. It was both exciting and nerve-wracking, but they knew they were making the right choice.
As they turned to leave the HR department, Sana mentioned, "We should head back to the apartment soon to collect our belongings. There's not much time left."
Y/n nodded in agreement. "You're right. We should make sure we don't leave anything behind."
Just as they were about to leave the from there.
"Y/n!!"
Y/n turned to see Eunwoo approaching her, and she greeted him with a smile. "Mr. Eunwoo, How are you?"
Eunwoo's expression was serious, and he asked in a low voice, "Y/n, could we talk in private for a moment? It's something important." She was confused.
Y/n nodded, and she could sense that this conversation was more serious than she had anticipated. She signaled to Sana, who understood the situation and decided to give them some privacy.
"Sana, I'll catch up with you later. You can go ahead to the apartment," Y/n told her friend.
Sana gave Y/n a worried look but complied. "Alright, Y/n. Just be careful, and let me know if you need anything. I'll see you later."
