As soon as the food was ready, Ivan made two plates and along with glasses and a jug of tea, he put everything on a tray and carried it down to the room Rick was staying in. Because his hands were full, he kicked the door with the toe of his boot and after a minute or two, Rick finally located the door and pulled it open.
"Hey Rick. I brought you some dinner. I figured that since you can't see, you'd rather not have to eat in front of everyone. If you don't mind, I'll eat in here with you." Ivan said as he carried the tray over to the coffee table by the seating area.
"Thanks! I've been exploring the room as much as I can. What is that room on the same wall as the bathroom? It's about the size of my room back at the Vipers clubhouse." Rick asked.
"That's the closet. These rooms down here are used as rescue rooms or as rooms for guests but the prospects rooms are almost as nice as these. Not quite as big but close. If you ask me, the bigger it is the more there is to clean. We're all supposed to keep our rooms clean and believe me when I say, the women will come down on you if you don't." Ivan said.
"What does it mean to them? They are not the ones to sleep in there." Rick said.
"Try saying that to one of them. Thor will tune your ass up!" Ivan laughed.
"Is that the big giant that was outside in that shed that talked to me after you? All I could see was a huge moving object. I thought I was hallucinating at first and then he spoke. He's very soft spoken." Rick said.
"Yeah. Thor is a nice guy until you cross him and believe me when I say his voice is the only soft thing about him. He's over 7 feet tall, has biceps bigger than both of your thighs put together and hands big enough to crush your skull. I've seen him pick up a heavy helmet with one hand. Piss him off and you will think a mountain fell on your head. I try very hard not to piss any of them off." Ivan said.
"Is Thor the biggest man here?" Rick asked.
"Yeah but Hammer comes a close second. He's not as tall but quicker to anger than Thor. Right after him comes Wolf. Now that is one man you really don't want mad at you, especially when it comes to anything to do with the women." Ivan said.
"Who is the scariest brother here?" Rick asked.
"Oh that's easy. Ace. He suffers from PTSD. He left the Marines as a Master Gunnery Sergeant and is an expert marksman but when he goes into a zone, it's spooky and you don't dare get anywhere near him. From what I've heard, he saw some really sick shit go down in Iraq. I've only seen him go into the zone once but let me tell you, I don't ever want to see it again.
A man in his outfit was a psychopath. Cut a whore up real bad and fucked her with a Bowie knife. Another time, he murdered an entire family of innocents in a hut where they had been hiding, trying to stay away from the fighting.
The story I heard was that there were some really young children in the hut, including a baby that was only a few weeks old. That man shot and killed them all, including the kid's puppy. I've heard some other stories but I can't remember them all right now.
Anyway, when Ace is stressed out, especially in a gun fight situation, he slips back into his "war zone". He is not a man you want to piss off. Wolf either. He's another one you don't want to piss off. But these guys are all good men and so long as you don't try to mess with or insult their women or try to be a smartass, then you've got nothing to worry about. If they tell you something, you can take it to the bank. When they tell you to do something, just do it. If your balls are big enough you can ask why later." Ivan told him.
"How the hell did you end up here, Ivan? You just don't seem like the biker type, if you excuse me for saying so." Rick asked.
"I was a rescue, like most everyone here. They saved me from my step dad after my mom died. He never liked me and I hated him. He was a cross country trucker and had hardly been around when my mom was dying but they were legally married.
