Genya x Tanjiro

(This one kinda ass, but ill do another genya x tanjiro soon)

"Press here to record a message!" Tanjiro gasps. "Wow, that's cool! Genya, can you record something for me?" He takes it from Tanjiro and stares at it in thought. He presses the leg and looks into his boyfriend's eyes.

"I love you." Genya says, a blush on his face. he pushes it to Tanjiro, who instantly presses the heart again.

"I love you."

The bear says monotonously, in a deep male voice. Tanjiro smiles at the brown teddy bear, and presses its heart again.

"I love you."

"You didn't have to, Genya." Genya shoves his hands in his hoodie pocket. "But do you like it? If you don't then...uh..-"

"Yeah, of course I do!" Tanjiro place it on the table, right next to the other stuffed toy, stack of tickets, gift basket filled with candy, photos from the photobooth, and the restaurant napkins. 

"Then that's all that matters."

Tanjiro wants to mention how Genya's already treating him to dinner right after they went to the amusement park but he decides not to, instead grabbing a paper napkin and fiddling with it, nervously. Genyas  arm flashes by in the corner of his eye, and he notices Genya folding a dollar bill, only more disciplined and focused. Tanjiro watches as he folds expertly and too fast to follow, until he ends up with a strange spiky ring.

'What could he be making...is it a crown?' Genya looks up and blushes a little when he notices Tanjiro watching him. "What is that Genya?" He pinches the middle and pulls it out a little, revealing a beautiful origami flower.

"Its a rose." "Its a rose!" They both say at the same time.

"Jinx, you owe me a dollar!" Genya laughs and slides the origami dollar towards him, and Tanjiro holds it delicately, with an amazed look on his face. .

"Wow, Its beautiful, Genya! Who taught you how to make these?"

"My dad did, he said it'll help with my training. It didn't really do much for me fighting wise, but I do know a lot of origami stuff now."

"Hm...maybe he just wanted you to focus more?" Tanjiro places the Rose next to the bear and thanks the waiter for the menus.

"Or maybe I could make a couple origami bear claws."

Tanjiro laughs, "Zenitsu knows how to make origami shuriken, you two could be origami ninjas!"

"Maybe." Genya picks up the menu and looks through it, flipping through the pages nonchalantly. Tanjiro stares at the menu at the table and then at the pile of gifts and prizes Genya won for him. 'Genya's already done enough for me, imagine how much money he's spent?' He stares out the window, and zones out to the sight of cars passing by.

"Hey," Genya sildes the menu to his hand, and Tanjiro jumps. "Ah, um-"

"Aren't you gonna order anything?"

Tanjiro looks everywhere but at genya,

"Ah, no, sorry."

Genya stares into Tanjiro's soul, trying to interpret the double meaning behind that. Tanjiro isnt a liar, and he couldn't lie if his life depened on it, but he's good at hiding his true feelings, whether it be intentional or not.

"I said I would treat you, Tanjiro, so get whatever you like." Tanjiro hesitantly takes the menu and Genya smiles slightly.

'I want you to have everything this world has to offer, Tanjiro...'
