How Do You Feel About Him

"Well, what's the verdict"?  Obito asked. It had been a few days since Kakashi came and demonstrated Doctors Assistant to me. It had also been a few days since I last talked to my son. I know he's busy running the company and the last thing I want to do is distract him while he's busy. He's worked hard for this since he was twelve and is currently in the middle of developing something big.

"I haven't needed it so far but I do use it as a way of double-checking the right kinds of medicine for each of my patients. A few of the other doctors have used it and their also pleased with the way it works. I know he just started but I can tell he has a bright future ahead of himself".

"Thanks, papa". He smiled.

"How do you feel about him"? "I'll be the first to admit he's quiet. So far I think I'm the only person he talks to at the office. It might have to do with the fact he works with me in my office but whenever I see him with the others he's standing as far away from them as he possibly can and only nods or shakes his head when answering yes or no questions and if it's not a yes or no question he doesn't answer them at all".

"It's not a superiority complex, if it was he would've gone on about how great it is to work for you or to have been assigned the job by your father, he could've also gone on about my success as a doctor or how Madara and I met but he didn't".

"He's a good person papa, I can tell just by looking into his eyes". "And exactly how long are you looking into his eyes to know that"? I smiled. "When he's not looking". He looked to the side. "You like him don't you"?

"I can't explain it but I can't help but feel drawn to him. I'm always wondering how he's doing, if he needs anything, what he ate for breakfast before coming here, what he's going to wear tomorrow, what kinds of dates he likes to go on, and which ones he doesn't.

I can also picture us cuddled up together on the couch after dinner in bed or on the couch watching a movie or tv show.......is that weird". "No my dear son that's called having a crush". He looked at the ground smiling.

"How did the talk with papa go"? Stone asked sitting beside me while Hibiki sat on my desk. "Not bad, we actually ended up talking about Kakashi". "You did"? Hibiki asked. "How did that go"? I smiled. "Really good actually. Neither of you can tell anyone this but............ I think I might have a crush on him".

"Obito". Stone said. "I know I know but I can't help it Nii San, I know he doesn't talk to any of you but with me it's different. The board members were being assholes and talking crap about me in the chatroom online. I couldn't understand any of it except for Alexander since he speaks Spanish so I asked him to translate it for me for the meeting that was taking place the next day.

The morning of the meeting came and he came in with a coffee and cookies for me because he knew he had bad news for me and knew I liked sweets. He didn't say it but I could tell he was worried by the way his eyes looked".

"Obito, they last thing Stone and I want is for you to get hurt". Hibiki said looking at me worriedly. I knew exactly why they were worried. While in high school I had been crushing on a girl hard only for her to humiliate me in front of the whole school after asking her out.

"I know and I appreciate the concern but Kakashi's not at all like her and I truly don't think he's trying to be rude to any of you on purpose, I don't get that vibe from him and neither does papa. I don't plan on asking him out today but maybe sometime in the near future". "How long have you felt this way"? Hibiki asked.

"A little while after he started".

He came in wearing a teal shirt with black pants. I pretended to be focused on the design I was currently working on so it wouldn't be obvious I was watching him. Like always he sat down, took out his laptop, and started working right away.

"I spoke with my papa earlier today, he's very impressed with Doctor's Assistant". "I'm glad I could be of service to you and your father. Is there anything else you need help with"? "Not at the moment, the diagram for the weapon im making is pretty simple".

"Weapon sir"? His eyes held a mixture of confusion and fear. "Uchiha Tech has made weapons for the military for years. My Aunts Ryuko and Aki served in the war before being police officers so they have a few connections".

"I see".

I nodded. "When it's time for me to demonstrate it I'd like for you to travel with me as my translator". "Anything you need sir".
