A/n: Sorry for leaving you all on a cliffhanger for so long. Things are so busy lately. Here is a long, angsty, fluffy chapter!

When Doflamingo was done beating Law up, he went to his bedroom. When Law heard the door close he let out a huge groan. This was the worst beating he ever got. He was in so much pain he felt like he was going to pass out.

Then he heard his bedroom door open and Luffy ran out. She looked worried. Why? Why would Luffy be worried for me? I hurt her!

"Oh Torao! I'm so sorry." Luffy cried in front of him. This made Law want to cry too. If he wasn't so tired then he would actually cry at the sight of the younger one. Luffy and crying shouldn't even be in the same sentence. He made Luffy cry. He hurt her again. He felt like crap. Emotionally and physically. "Let's get outta here, we could go to my place" Luffy offered quietly, holding Law's bloody face in her hands.

Luffy carried Law on her back all the way back to her apartment. That was a long way back too. When she finally made it back, she went straight to the bathroom and got the first aid kit out.

Law, who was half awake, propped himself on the counter. W̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶e̶x̶t̶r̶a̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶p̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶L̶u̶f̶f̶y̶.̶  After a few minutes of Luffy cleaning his wounds, Law broke the silence in the room "I'm sorry," Law sobbed, "I'm sorry I lied to you."

Luffy shook her head and held Law's face with her hands "You have nothing to be sorry for". She argued in a soft voice. 

"Yes I do" He looked into her eyes. "I lied to keep you safe. Okay? That's why I didn't want to be your friend in the first place. I didn't want you to get into my life because HE would find you."

Luffy took a breath and held Law's hands. "Well, now I know about this... so what now? You can't keep living like this! Have you tried to get help?"

"NO!" Law shouted panicked. His eyes were wide and he held his knees to his chest. He was still crying from before. "NO! YOU CAN'T TELL ANYONE. HE'S GONNA KILL ME!"

Luffy, who was startled from Law yelling, held her hands up in a 'I'm not gonna hurt you' manner. She slowly walked closer to him and cupped his face.

"Can you tell me why at least? You don't have to. We still have time." Luffy reassured. She needed to be calm for Law. So she doesn't freak him out.

"H-he... I tried... t-to o-once b-before." Law stuttered and hicuped, "a-and h-he... h-he b-bribed the j-judge. I-I can't-t b-be free-e."

It was true. Law had once got caught with bruises on his arms by his teacher when he was around six. Mr. Silvers talked to him after class and got the truth from him. Then they went to trial and Law told everyone everything but he didn't win the case and he got back into Doflamingo's care. He then moved to somewhere different. Instead of All Blue City Doffy and Law moved to a quiet town called Foosha Village.

Luffy in response to that said, "No. You will be free. Your dream is to study at Drum Island University and become a Surgeon. You have a dream that you've been working towards. You will be free. You have something to live for. Remember? You told me that when you saved me!"

Law paused and looked at her. "I-I really... I have feelings for you Luffy."

"I know Torao... I know." Luffy smiled gently and kissed his cheek. "We'll get out of this together. Okay? You can live here. We can go to the police station and talk to the sheriff. Okay? He can't keep you locked up forever."
