I sat up gasping from the usual nightmare filled with blood and screams of my family. I could still feel the heat of the fires as I sat there wiping the sweat from my forehead panting. "You alright, Duha."

Jumping from the voice inside my space I turned and saw Kyros sitting there. "What are you doing here?" I growled.

"Someone had to sit with you in case you got worse. You have woken up shouting or groaning in pain every few hours. I was asked to sit with you to let you rest." I laid back sighing. "I can't believe you came on this trip while one of your old wounds is causing you problems."

"You don't understand! I have spent my life running from humans and beasts alike. Now I get to show the world I'm not who they think I am. I get to free our kind, then I can leave them to enjoy some peace."

He sighed shaking his head. "You are a fool Duha." I growled at him. "I don't want you to run off to the home of the Dragons. I enjoy your company, and once the others get over themselves, they will enjoy your company, too."

"I don't want to get to know them. They didn't want to know me when I needed them, so I don't want to know them when they don't need me." He sighed and nodded. "Besides I heard you asking Kyanite if you could go there."

He smiled. "I, too, have had my fill with this world. The humans are more than I can take most of the time." I hummed my agreement. Kyros put his hand under my shrit. "Rollover."

I did and he roughly checked the part of my back that was wounded a long time ago. He grumbled and rubbed something into my back. "What is this?" I asked slightly alarmed.

"This is a thing of my creation. It should help a little." He continued and was slightly less rough with me this time. "We will be arriving at the castle today. We need you at full strength." He pulled my shirt down and I rolled over to look at him. "We all saw you fight. This is why none of us have insisted you go back. According to Tigger, there is something in the castle that the humans are afraid of."

"It's just hard to resupply a castle in such a high and rocky place." I said waving my hand dismissively.

He nodded laying out some leather armour for me. "We will have to get ourselves ready to go. You have breakfast to make."

I nodded standing and heading for the fire. A Green Dragon was there and she watched me as I pulled out the things to make breakfast. Kyros walked up moments later. "Urg suragp yaspilrmeth is thsumefg sisqu agpic yqwar is urgc Duha?" Her tone was not as formal as the other Dragons.

I frowned at her as Kyros translated her words. "She said the other yaspilrmeth don't like you very much do they?"

"You speak to me in a familiar tone Green Dragon." Kyros sighed as he translated for me.

She grinned and shrugged. "E neg sisqu jsp tarku sisqu kpeg Duha. Sisqu kpeg sthg nugl ktkc jpsy ogwesyeth sthg sj urg temi sthgan."

Kyros growled the translation this time. "I see you for what you are Duha. You are one step away from becoming one of the wild ones."
