Andres' POV:

At that moment, the door was opened by Senor Augustine. "Miraboo, Kristi, got your party pants on, cause I-" he stopped short, seeing the vision on the dresser. Kristi and I quickly hid ours. Mirabel tried to hide her vision, Casita helping by moving the dresser, but it was too late.

"We......Broke into Bruno's tower, found his last visions, the family's in trouble, the magic is dying, the house is breaking, Luisa's gift is fading, and I think it's because of.......Me?" Mirabel admitted, rambling.

Senor Augustine still looked shocked as he walked forward and gazed at the vision.

"Tio...?" Kristi asked, looking up at him.

At that moment, we heard the doorbell ring. Senor Augustine seemed to snap out of his shock. He grabbed the pieces and stuffed them into the bag. "We say nothing. Abuela wants tonight to be perfect. Till the Guzman's leave, you all did not break into Bruno's tower, the magic is not dying, the house is not breaking, and Luisa's gift is not fading. No one will know. No one has to know. We just act normal. No one has to know..." he whispered to us, putting the last piece in the bag.

We opened the door to leave the room, but we then saw Delores. She gave a squeak, a scared look on her face. "I know..." With that being said, she quickly hurried off.

"She's gonna tell everyone." Kristi stated, face palming.

 "Yep.." Mirabel nodded.

Kristi and I didn't follow the father and daughter out right away. I looked over at my girlfriend to see her sitting on Mirabel's bed, tears rolling down her cheeks. I walked over and hugged her.

"How could they say such things....? He wasn't like that...." she said, her voice broken.

"I know, mi amor...I know...Sometimes, people just don't like those who are different.."

"But Bruno wasn't that different! I mean, yea, he was raising me on his own and he could see the future, but still!"

"That's the only excuse people need, sometimes." I said softly, wondering why she was calling him Bruno and not papa like she always does.

She sighed and nodded. "I guess you're right..." she then looked over at the vision pieces. "Let's find out what this says." I nodded and helped her put it together.

"KRISTI!!" we suddenly heard Senora Alma call. She didn't sound happy.

"COMING, ABUELA!" Kristi called down. "JUST START WITHOUT ME!"

With that, we went back to putting the vision together. When we finished, I frowned. Kristi's eyes were wide. In the vision, was Kristi, looking angry, yelling at Senor Bruno. Senor Bruno was crying as he looked at her. He looked as if he were trying to defend himself, but not doing very well.

 "I-I don't....I don't understand....W-what is this....?" Kristi asked quietly.

I didn't say a word. I just put my hand on her back. I wondered what this meant too. Would Kristi and Senor Bruno have a fight...? No. That couldn't be. Kristi and her papa were so close growing up. They loved each other dearly. Kristi could never be this mad at him. Right...?

"We'd better head downstairs...Abuela is going to be mad at me enough as it is." she spoke softly. I nodded and helped her tuck the vision into her bag. When the pieces were put away, I helped her stand up and she walked me downstairs to the door.

But, when we got downstairs, we heard Delores exclaim, "Andres, Kristi, and Mirabel found Bruno's vision, Mirabel's in it, she's going to destroy the magic, and we're all doomed!" We looked at each other before hurrying to the doorway of the kitchen.

"Oh no..." Kristi whispered, her eyes wide.

The vision was on the table in front of Senora Alma. We looked at her worriedly. Just then, we heard the house cracking. The Madrigals' gifts started malfunctioning. I took Kristi in my arms as she suddenly started feeling weak, unable to stand on her own. My eyes were wide as I saw her pupils turn into stars.

 "Kristi, mi vida!" I exclaimed.

She closed her eyes tight, shaking her head, before opening them once more. When she opened her eyes, her brown sparkling eyes no longer had stars in them. I smiled and hugged her tight. We then looked over at her abuela, who looked at us crossly.

 Kristi's POV:

Andres and I were standing at the door with Mirabel, watching everyone leave. Mariano left with his mother, abuela following and calling after them. Isabella left next, telling Mirabel she hated her.

"Waaa! I'm a loser!" Luisa cried as she followed the others.

"Luisa!" Augustine exclaimed, hurrying after his daughter.

"What did you do??" Tia Pepa exclaimed, going past us.

 "We didn't do anything! It's Bruno's vision! It's-"

"Girls! Look!" Andres said suddenly. We looked where he was pointing and saw rats taking the vision pieces.

"Follow those rats!" I said quickly.

The three of us hurried after the rodents. We followed the rats to a painting, where they were scurrying behind it. I frowned confused, sharing a glance at Andres and Mirabel before crawling into the small space, my cousin and boyfriend following after me. I suddenly froze. We were behind the walls...The same place Delores kept hearing the sounds....

We walked forward, seeing cracks in the walls. Suddenly, we stopped, seeing a rat run past us, a piece of the vision in it's mouth. It was lifted up by someone I couldn't see. But then, lightning, from the storm outside flashed. I gasped in shock.

"Bruno??" I exclaimed. As quickly as the lightning came and went, so was my father. "Wait!" I called to him, Mirabel, Andres, and I running after him. We went through so many obstacles. I had no idea till now Bruno was so...Athletic....If that's the word anyway.

We suddenly came to the edge of a big hole in the floor. We stopped short, my father getting away. I guess he really didn't want to see me, huh...? Well, I'm going to see him and he's going to tell us what Mirabel's vision means.

"Vamanos. He did it. We can too." I said, backing up.

"That's my girl." Andres smiled at me, backing up.

"Let's do this." Mirabel agreed in a determined voice, backing up. Mirabel jumped first, Andres following. I ran after him. Unfortunately, we didn't make the jump. We screamed as we fell. Mirabel grabbed Andres and Andres grabbed me.

"No...No...Help.." I whispered, my eyes wide.

"Help, Casita..." Andres said in a quiet voice.

"Casita, help us! Help us!" Mirabel exclaimed.

At that moment, I could feel my hand slipping from Andres' grasp.
