Andres' POV:

"What is going on?!" Senora Alma yelled, storming into the house. Uh oh. We all stood up. Isabella moved away from us, not looking happy. I stood behind Mirabel, holding Kristi close.

"Abuela, it's ok! Everything's-We're gonna save the miracle!" Mirabel exclaimed. "The magic-"

"What are you talking about?!" Senora Alma snapped, cutting her off. "Look at our home! Look at your sister and Kristi!" I saw Isabella trying to dust herself off.

 "Please! Just-Isabella wasn't happy! And-"

"Of course she wasn't happy! You ruined her proposal!" Senora Alma yelled at her.

"No, no, no! She needed me to ruin her proposal! And then we did all this!" Mirabel was trying to explain, trying to show her abuela all the plants her eldest granddaughter made. "And the candle burned brighter, and the cracks-"

"Mirabel," Senora Alma tried to cut her off, but she continued.

"That's why I'm in the vision! I'm saving the miracle!"

"MIRABEL! YOU HAVE TO STOP!" Senora Alma screamed at her. We stared at her. "The cracks started with you. Bruno left because of you. Luisa's losing her powers because of you. Isabella is out of control because of you. Kristi won't listen because of you!" Mirabel looked down sadly. I could feel Kristi's hand gripping mine tightly. I looked at her and she looked mad. "I don't know why you weren't given a gift, but it is not a reason for you to hurt this family!"

Mirabel looked like she was going to cry. Kristi was fuming. She got out of my grasp and stood just in front of Mirabel.

"We will never be good enough for you, will we?" my girlfriend asked, as Senora Julietta and Senor Augustine came in behind Senora Alma.

"No matter how hard I try..." Mirabel spoke up quietly. Kristi looked back at her. "No matter how hard any of us tries....Luisa will never be strong enough. Isabella will never be perfect enough! Kristi isn't a slave here. She won't do everything you say. Bruno left because you only saw the worst in him!"

I watched as Kristi flinched at the mention of Senor Bruno. He was always a sensitive topic for her, ever since he left.

"BRUNO DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THIS FAMILY!" Senora Alma yelled.

"Bruno loves this family!" Kristi exclaimed angrily. "We love this family! You're the one who doesn't care! You're the one breaking our home!"

As Kristi yelled at her, I suddenly could see cracks forming. "Um...Kristi..." I spoke up hesitantly. But she was too angry to listen to me.

 "Don't you ever-"

"The miracle is dying because of you!" Kristi yelled.

"Kristi!" I exclaimed, finally getting her attention. She looked at me, her eyes going wide. She had noticed the cracks.

"No..." I heard Senora Pepa yell. The house was falling apart. I grabbed Kristi and pulled her close to me protectively.

"The candle!" Kristi said suddenly. She, Mirabel, and I looked up and saw the candle in danger. Mirabel then began to run to it.

"Casita, get me up there!" she exclaimed.

"Mirabel!" Kristi exclaimed, trying to go after her, but I held her back. "Andres, let me go!"

"No! I won't lose you! Go outside now! I'll get her!" I said firmly.

 "No! I won't leave you!"

"Kristi this is not up for debate!" I yelled at her, holding her by her shoulders.

I could see Isabella and Camilo trying to go after Mirabel, but they failed. Kristi and I looked up and saw Antonio's door burst open and al his animals come running out. Just as the door was about to fall on the little boy, his father scooped him up, running away.

"Casita get them out of here!" Mirabel yelled.

"I love you, Kristi!" I exclaimed, letting her go and holding onto a pillar. Casita moved it's tiles, trying to get us all out of here.

"Andres! What are you doing!?" Kristi exclaimed, reaching for me.

"I'm sorry..." I said quietly. I then looked up. I was going to protect Mirabel and make sure Senor Bruno was ok. "Casita, I know you're losing power, but please, get me up there!"

Casita helped me get up to where Mirabel was. I looked to the side and saw the mountains around the Encanto split in half. I then saw Senor Bruno on the ground looking up at me. He stared at me, looking panicked. He probably wondered about Kristi. After all, the last thing he said to me was, 'Take care of her.'

"Don't worry, Senor Bruno. I'll always take care of her and protect her with my life." I said under my breath.

"Andres, what are you doing??" Mirabel exclaimed.

"Making sure you're ok!" I declared as she grabbed the candle. As she did, Bruno's tower started crumbling and sliding towards us. We slid off the roof and I covered Mirabel with my body, protecting her from all the rubble that was falling. I could feel Casita cover us with pieces of wood with the last of it's magic.

Once it was all over, Kristi came running over to me, hugging my neck, knocking me down. "Oh, Andres, you idiot! Never do that again! You scared me to half to death! I thought I was going to lose you..."

"Not a chance, Kristi." I smiled before frowning, looking over at Mirabel. She was looking at the candle sadly. Mine and Kristi's eyes went wide. The candle was small now and, it had gone out. The candle was special and magical. It was never supposed to go out...

"No.." Kristi said softly, a tear forming in her brown eyes. The miracle was gone. Casita was gone. The Magical Madrigals were no more....
