Unfortunately for the students, Brunch is never enough for them to get out all of their steam before going to class. They get so glum when they have to stop playing and hanging out with their friends and have to go back to boring old class.

Some kids went their classrooms near the stairs, in the halls, however some and very minimum went to their classrooms that faced the black top basketball courts. It did look strange to these students. Why would their next class be there? And with the same exact people as their Social Studies class.

"We are really going to get to know each other." George commented as him and the others picked their seats. Thankfully this teacher let them choose their seats as well.

"Hello everyone. Welcome to your first day of Algebra!" The teacher presented with a pit of a Indian accent. "You all can call me Mrs. Vesper." She was mostly wearing a white button up top with a black sweater on top and skinny tight black jeans.

"Before we start our getting-to-know-each-other activities, I have a little presentation, so you get to know me and what this class is all about. Just wait one second for me to put up the screen." The projector was already down and on, all Mrs. Vesper needed to do was connect her computer to it. "And since you guys have gotten to know each other, why not talk amongst yourselves about how your guys first day of middle school has been?" Thankfully most of the kids did have some things to say, however very minimal stayed quiet.

After Mrs. Vesper introduced herself and gave background knowledge, she started giving out rules and guidelines of how the class ran. It did startle some of the students, and after sensing their concerns, she reassured them that they sound intimidating and a lot now, but they will get a hang of the class routine.

To get a bigger idea of the concept of Algebra and what the students are going to do, the teacher decided to play a little video explanation. However for some people, it wasn't that comfortable.

"Um Mrs. Vesper." The girl Rayne called out.

"Yes, Rayne?"

"The video is too loud for me."

"Okay, I'll turn it down a bit."

"It's not even that loud." Vincent mumbled.

"We're all different, Vincent." Mrs. Vesper reminded him.

Once the students got the idea about what assignments and quizzes are going to be about, Mrs. Vesper had them take a pre-assessment so she could get an idea of how much the kids know already. It also gave her a chance to privately talk to one of the teachers, more specifically Mrs. Clemonte and another "teacher" Mrs. Brightly.

"Mrs. Clemonte was right." Mrs. Vesper had texted. "They are the ones."

"Seriously!?" Mrs. Brightly asked. "You can feel it now!?"

"I know right! That's what I said! It's...fascinating." Mrs. Clemonte mentioned.

"Now I am even more excited to meet them!"

"You will only meet a few at a time, remember?" Mrs. Vesper reminded. "It is important for each of them to have separation from one another, or else everything will go...haywire."

"I understand." Mrs. Brightly texted back.

"Who have you met any of them already?"

"Rayne so far. Lily is in my fourth. Vincent is in my fifth and George is in my sixth."

"Good. Make sure they feel as comfortable as they can. We need them to trust each other."

"Yes ma'mam." Both teachers responsed at the same time. Mrs. Vesper looked up from her phone, which was covered with papers in disguise, and saw that some people were already done and others were struggling. Now she needed to go into teacher mode.

Once 3rd period was done, the students from Mrs. Vesper's class and every other students started transitioning to their 4th period class. As Mrs. Vesper opened her door, she noticed Mrs. Brightly on the other side of the hall opening her classroom door as well. Without anyone looking they exchange looks, knowing that their plan is going to work, it has to.

What Mrs. Brightly found interesting in the both girls, Rayne and Lily, was how on top of stuff they are, and at the same time, quiet and shy. She does understand that it is the first day of their middle school education, but can see that later they are going to do a lot.

Unfortunately for Mrs. Brightly her time with the girls was shortly lived. Monday's had shortened classes, but had every student attend every one of their classes. It was both a blessing and curse. But fortunately time went by fairly quickly that it was Lunch.

Everywhere was crowded with students, the quad, the halls, even the tennis courts, but the most popular spot was the basketball court. The basketball courts were full of wannabe basketball players playing games and dribbling. It convinced George to want to join them as well. He had loads of friends from his elementary school coming to the middle school he knew that he could get a game going to test out the new skills that he worked on during the summer.

"Hey guys!" He shouted.

The group of boys sitting on silver raisers near the huge grassy track and the basketball courts see George and wave at him.

"Yo Geo come over!" One of his close friends, James called out to him.

Most of the boys are wearing the same type of clothing as George. A t-shirt with some cartoon design or a logo that it's from, a pair of shorts many sports shorts and jean shorts along with some Nike shoes to stop the whole look.

George walked towards them hands up so he could catch the basketball that one of the boys was holding. He catches it and started to dribble it while walking.

"You guys want to play a game?"

"Sure." Another friend, Alex said putting his backpack down.

"Me to!" A guy whose name George suspected his name was Lucas followed the others.

With the others, George sets puts his bag down and rush over to the basketball court that the guys were able to get.

"Hey George! Pass the ball!" James called out. George tightened his grip on the ball in his hands and then chest passes it towards him. The ball pushes the guy making him fall backward onto the blacktop. George's hands cover his wide-opened mouth while the guy's friends laughed and one of them helped him up.

"Dang, George, you really have a good pass!" Alex commented.

"Your names George?" He suddenly heard someone asked behind him. He turned around and saw that it was two guys that wore a lot of what he thinks is expensive clothes. All red and yellow, and clean.

"Hi?" George responded, looking at them with confusion. "Who are you?"

The taller guy chuckled. "I'm Stephen."

"Porter." He was the shortest of the three and way skinner too.

"Raeden." The more browner, and wavy black hair boy said last. George was shocked from how close they seem from the introduction.

"And what do you guys want?" George asked pretending not to care about it all.

The three exchanged looks. "We want to know if you would want to play a game with us?"

George's eyebrows pointed down in confusion. He glanced over to his other friends who looked like they were practicing. George didn't mind having more friends. If these mysterious guys are interested. This could be fun.

"Sure." George answered, trying the smirk that he saw Stephen made earlier. "Let's see what you guys got."
