"Plenty sits still; hunger is a wanderer." - Zulu proverb
"Get off me." I mumbled, feeling distressed. "Get off me!" I screamed as I started kicking, cold sweat dripping all over my forehead. Spencer wrapped his arms around my waist and placed a kiss on my head. "Get away from me!" I shouted and Spencer retreated, turning the lamp on. My eyes scanned the room and landed on Spencer, who looked hurt. "I'm so sorry, Spence."
Spencer sighed and leaned back. "It's okay, Cass. I just wish you'd tell me what's bothering. What happened to you?"
I pursed my lips and bit the inside of my cheek. "Therapy should be helping but it's not." I sat on the edge of the bed. "I'm a mess, Spence." I buried my face on my hands and started crying.
Spencer leaned closer to me, held both my hands and tilted my chin up. "You're not a mess." His hazel eyes locked with my blue ones. "Cassie, something terrible happened and you have all the right to be upset about it and struggle." He wet his lips before speaking again. "You supported me when Tobias tortured me and I never thanked you for that. Now it's my turn to support you." He held me in his arms. "Whatever Cyrus did to you, I'll help you through it. Just trust me, Precious."
I buried my face on his chest and broke down, a sobbing mess. "I don't deserve you, Spence."
"You deserve the world, Cass. I meant it when I said you were worth waiting for." His hold tightened and I felt calmer. Only Spencer could ease my anxiety and make me feel worthy.

I was the first one to arrive at the conference room and decided to take a look at the files on top of the table. It was my first case after being stuck on desk duty. At least, my paperwork was all done.
"Good morning, Porter." Hotch greeted me and I gave a small nod. "Ready for your first case back?"
"Yes, I already looked through it." I told my boss with a small smile. "Highway 99 Killer? It's too premature to give a nickname."
Hotch nodded in agreement. "I couldn't agree more, Porter. This could be a step back."
I glanced around the room as soon as I heard cheery chit chat. "Let's just hope it didn't damage our case."
A very pregnant JJ grabbed the remote and hit the button. "Larry and Ann Sullivan were found in their home bludgeoned with a clothing iron."
"Weapon of opportunity?" Morgan questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"It seems like it." JJ replied with one hand on her belly. "The unsub placed his dirty clothes on top of Mr. Sullivan and left no fingerprints or DNA evidence."
Emily looked at the photos. "Forensic countermeasure. He's smart."
"The media already dubbed the Highway 99 Killer so I think we should explore other ways the unsub could be traveling." I suggested.
"That's an excellent idea, Porter." Hotch looked at me with a soft expression. "You and Reid should work on the geographical profile together." I glanced at Spencer and he smiled at me. We haven't been close in a while.
Hotch proceeded to leave the room while Emily came up to me. "Did you know that Morgan was approached by a mysterious woman who knew his name?"
"A former lover?" I asked with an amused expression and Emily shrugged. Morgan was never one to forget women he had slept with.

Spencer and I stared at the highway map and the houses where the murders occurred. Nothing made sense. "I think we should start over." I suggested in frustration.
