"I never teach my pupils; I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn." - Albert Einstein
Spencer and I were having breakfast in our favorite diner and it looked like he was hungry. I chuckled and he looked at me with a confused expression. "What is it, Cass?"
I put my forked down and stared at his beautiful hazel eyes. "You're hungry."
He cleaned his mouth and started coughing in embarrassment. "Sorry. Last night was intense and I need food to recharge my batteries." He started blushing, probably reminiscing about our night together.
"I get it." I smiled softly. "We haven't been intimate like that in a while." He nodded and I took a bit of my waffles.
Spencer grabbed my hand. "I've really missed this, Precious."
My eyes locked with his and I could feel my heart racing, the same feeling I had when we first kissed. "I've missed us so much, Spence." I smiled as he squeezed my hand. "Your love means everything to me."
"Trust me, I love you so much. I cannot describe how much I love you with words." Spencer kept his eyes on mine. "Never in a million years would I have thought an angel like you would actually fall for me."
I was about to say something when we both got a text from JJ. "Apparently Rossi needs us in Cleveland."
Spencer asked for the bill and paid for it while I left a tip. "It must be urgent." He held my hand and we walked to the car. I was worried about Rossi, my new mentor.

Rossi called us to help in the murder investigation of Zoe Hawkes, a Criminology student who was investigating a series of copycat murders in Cleveland, Ohio. Rossi seemed distraught about her death.
Spencer and I went to the Medical Examiner's office to know more about Zoe's death. "Hello, doctor." I greeted him. "I'm Dr. Porter and this is Dr. Reid with the FBI. We're investigating Zoe Hawkes' death as well as the other ones."
The M.E was taken aback. "Of course." He pointed to the body. Zoe was around my age and she looked so young laying on that cold table. "Miss Hawkes was found outside Kayla James' house."
"Tell us about Kayla James." Spencer requested softly.
The doctor handed us a file. "Kayla James was bound, raped and suffocated. She had ligature marks on her ankles and wrists and appeared to have been sexually assaulted prior to her death."
I glanced at Spencer. "Sounds like Dennis Rader's M.O."
"We have to assume that all recent murders are copycats of famous serial killers." Spencer stated.
"Perhaps an inexperienced killer who hasn't found his modus operandi." I chimed in.
The doctor handed us another file. "There was DNA on Zoe Hawkes and I already sent it to the lab. Maybe we'll get a match."
Spencer glanced at the file. "DNA on her forehead?"
"He kissed her?" I widened my eyes in shock. The unsub took the time to kiss Zoe's forehead after strangling her. He must have found a M.O that satisfied him after all. The kiss was highly specific.
* * *
The case files were scattered on the table as I started to write on the white board. All the murders were copycats except for Zoe's. He was revisiting the crime scene and she wasn't supposed to be there. It wasn't premeditated, yet it was the only murder he actually enjoyed and found his signature.
