"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag and begin to slit throats." - H.L. Mencken

I rang the doorbell and Kitty opened the door. Her eyes widened as soon as she saw me. "CeCe!" Her lips curled up and she immediately gave me the warmest hug. "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too, Kit." I smiled before releasing from her embrace. "Can I meet my nephew?"

Kitty knitted her eyebrows together. "You don't call, you don't text... Not even a letter." She scolded me. "And don't say it's because of work. Even dad calls sometimes and you know how busy Judge Arthur is."

I smirked. "I believe it's Judge Porter but you're right."

"Come in, oh Prodigal Sister." She mocked me and bowed slightly as I stuck my tongue out at her. "Archie is asleep but you can hold him later."

Even after giving birth and spending months caring for two children, Kitty managed to look beautiful and put together. "Found a nanny yet?" I asked as I placed my suitcase near the big beige couch.

Kitty shook her head. "Zach and I decided I should stay home and care for the children."

"That's huge!" I was shocked that my feminist sister would be pleased by staying home.

"I love being a mother, CeCe." Kitty smiled and I felt so happy for her. "Now, why are you here instead of home with your perfect genius boyfriend?"

I sighed as I threw myself into the couch. "My boss suspended me for reckless behavior and I didn't feel like staying in DC."

Kitty scrunched her nose. "My straight laced sister got suspended?"

"It's a long story."

"Let's start with that black eye of yours." She chuckled. "I swear, everytime I see you, you have some new injuries."

I told Kitty about what happened in Phoenix and how unfair Hotch was. It was easy talking to my sister, she didn't judge me and was willing to start a war for me. Being home felt so great.

Spencer called me to fill me in on the case the team was working on. They had a spree killer who attacked people on the road, thus the nickname "Road Warrior". I swear, the media enjoyed glorifying criminals instead of bringing justice to the victims.

I was holding Archie in my arms and he was the cutest baby I've seen. His eyes were just like Kitty's and I could tell he was going to be as handsome as Zach. "Archie is so precious."

Kitty smiled as I cradled my nephew. "He's such a sweet baby. Barely cries and sleeps just fine."

Archie smiled at me as I played with his tiny hand. "He has a tight grip." I pointed out.

"He really does." Kitty nodded. "Zach is convinced he's going to be an athlete."

I chuckled and kept staring at Archie. "How is Millie adjusting to her new brother?"

"She loves her little brother." Kitty's smile was so wide that it made me all warm inside for the first time in forever. "She loves watching him sleep and even draws him."

"That's sweet!"

"Aunt Cassie!" Millie came running, dropping her small backpack on the floor. "I missed you."

I handed Archie to Kitty and hugged the blonde little girl. "I missed you too, Millie."

She kissed my cheek. "Where is uncle Spence?" Millie placed her hands on her hips and looked at me with a expectant expression.
