"What was silent in the father speaks in the son, and often I've found in the son the unveiled secret of the father." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Spencer and I were in the hotel lobby saying goodbye to the team. "Are you sure you two are going to be fine?" Hotch asked, clearly concerned about our mental state.
I glanced at me boyfriend and nodded. "I promise not to be reckless and keep an eye on Spence."
Hotch gave me a stern look before leaving. "Just call us if you need anything." JJ said while hugging me and Spencer. She had fully embraced her motherly side.
"Yeah and don't get into too much trouble." Emily winked and I chuckled.
They immediately left and I turned to Spencer. "Now we can get on bedroom for the both of us." I smiled and Spencer nodded, putting an arm around my waist.
"The worst part is not being able to sleep next to you when we travel."He kissed the tip of my nose and a million butterflies fluttered in my stomach.
After cancelling my room and moving to Spencer's, we found Rossi and Morgan watching daytime TV in the bedroom. "Really? What are you two doing here?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
Rossi turned to us with an amused smile. "We couldn't let you two kids alone."
"Right, we wanna help." Morgan smirked.
Spencer handed them the folder. "I remember seeing my father there." He announced and I widened my eyes. "I think he killed Riley."
Rossi and Morgan exchanged looks. "How do you wanna proceed?"
"Like any other case." Spencer replied bitterly. "We should talk to Mr. Jenkins." I held his hand and he took a deep breath. Both Morgan and Rossi nodded. They knew this was eating Spencer alive.

It was decided Spencer and I should be the ones to talk to Lou Jenkins, Riley's father. He was currently at work and he stopped as soon as he saw us.
"Lou Jenkins?" I asked and the man nodded. "Cassidy Porter and Spencer Reid with the FBI." I introduced us.
"Reid..." Mr. Jenkins trailed off. "You're Spencer? Little Spencer?" He chuckled. "You sure grew taller than your father."
Spencer rolled his eyes. "We are here to talk about Riley's murder."
Lou's gaze wandered off. "What about it?" He was hiding something.
"I remember that my father knew Riley and I have a feeling he's involved somehow." Spencer explained.
"You think your old man killed my son?" Lou was outraged. "Listen, kid, you're way off. Your parents are good people and your dad would never harm a child."
"You're hiding something." I pointed out.
Lou sighed. "Alright, I have to go back to work. If you wanna see your dad, he works at the Kierschenbaum, Wieder and Moore law firm in Summerlin."
"Thank you." I said before leaving with Spencer.
"He still lives in the area and never tried to reach me." Spencer was hurt and all I could do was link my arm in his and rest my head on his shoulder, showing I was there for him.
We arrived at the hotel to discuss the interviews. Morgan and Rossi went to the station to talk to the detective in charge of Riley's investigation.
"Did you mention my father?" Spencer asked with hurt in his eyes.
"The detective was very adamant that your father was not a suspect in the Riley Jenkins' murder." Rossi informed us.
