"There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues of human society are created, strengthened and maintained." - Winston Churchill
That morning I decided to go to the FBI gym as I usually do. I still hadn't told Spencer and I couldn't face him so working out was the next best thing.
I had my gloves on, punching the bag when I saw him. Again. It was as if he was part of me now. "Thou shall not lie." I heard Cyrus' voice.
"What are you doing here?" I asked annoyed while still punching the bag.
Cyrus chuckled and grabbed the punching bag. "I'm inside your mind. I can't control these appearances." I kicked the bag and he took a step back. "It's not like I really wanna be here. You're too aggressive."
I threw the gloves on the floor and grabbed a bottle of water. "Then leave!"
"I won't until you tell Spencer. You know that's the right thing to do." He stared at me with compassion in his eyes. "Only you can get rid of me."
"I don't know how to." I wiped the sweat off my forehead.
"Who are you talking to?" I heard Morgan's voice and turned around. Cyrus was gone and now I looked like a crazy person.
I widened my blue eyes and grabbed a towel. "No one. I was just talking to myself." Which was technically true.
Morgan dropped his bag and looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. "Pretty Girl, you're showing all signs of someone who was sexually assaulted. You're withdrawn, angry, reckless... You know I've been through the same." He took me in his arms and I broke down. "You don't have to tell me anything, just know that I'm here for you."
"Am I interrupting something?" Spencer showed up and stared at us.
I let go of Morgan's embrace and wiped my tears. "No Spence. Everything's fine." I patted his shoulder and left the gym. I could not face Spencer right now. It was too much.

After getting dressed to go to the meeting, I joined the team at the round table and noticed Spencer didn't even acknowledge me. I sat next to Emily and she gave me a soft smile.
"Last night, Geoff and Nancy Hale were brutally murdered in their home in Harvest, Alabama, and their daughter Cate was abducted." Jordan filled us in.
I looked at the crime scene photos. "What's the MO?" I asked.
Hotch glanced at me. "Both parents had their throats slashed with some sort of blade, possibly a knife."
"Harvest is a small town." Morgan noted. "Is it possible the family had enemies?"
"Nancy remarried after divorcing Cate's father." Jordan replied. "He's been cleared by the local police after he was questioned about his daughter's disappearance."
Emily looked at the file and sighed. "The crime scene doesn't look messy. This wasn't done by someone without experience."
"Which is why we are going to Harvest." Hotch announced. "It is possible more murders like this occurred in different small towns in Alabama and the local police asked for our help."
"Wheels up in thirty?" Rossi asked with a smirk and Hotch nodded before walking out.
I grabbed the case files and stood up, looking at Spencer. "Is everything okay, Spence?" I asked with a worried expression.
Spencer glanced at me and nodded. "Sure." He walked out and didn't even wait for me as he used to do.
"Are you and Reid fighting?" Rossi asked and I shrugged, not knowing what to say. Were we fighting? Spencer looked upset.
