Dick and Wally had been dating for 3 years when Wally disappeared in Antarctica.

The first thing Wally saw when he fell of the speed force an hour later was Dick's face which was tear stained and, to Wally, glowing.

The sight made Wally fall farther into the trance that Dick had put on him when they first met.

Originally Wally's plan was to wait a few years to propose but after the incident he decided he couldn't wait any longer so now there they were.

"Babe." Wally called towards the bedroom.

"I'm coming." Dick said leaving the room.

Wally took a moment to admire what he was wearing. A dress shirt and black dress pants which Wally thought fit him nicely.

"Since when were you so focused on time?" Dick walked past him yo the kitchen.

"Since tonight but I have a surprise but we have to be on time." Wally followed Dick.

Dick just shrugged and approached the door. Before he could open in Wally dashed over to him and placed a hand on his.

"No need." Wally smiled.

Wally held onto him tightly as he ran and before Dick knew it they were at their destination.

"In public. Getting reckless I see." Dick watched Wally chuckle a little.

Oddly enough, the place they were in didn't look like Blüdhaven. The streets were clean and all the chatter around was in a different language.

Luckily for them Dick could understand and because Wally did some research he could understand some basic words as well.

Dick let go of him to admire the city behind him.

"France?" Dick turned to Wally.

Wally scratched the back of his head. "It's a little cliché."

The redhead who was waiting for an answer.

"Where are we going?" Dick smiled.

Wally lit up and dragged him along while spewing random facts he memorized the night before . Dick already knew most of it but he'd listen to Wally blabber on and occasionally gasp in fake disbelief.

Eventually they reached the building which was a short but nice rooftop restaurant with a railing at the top and a sign which read 'Gusteau's'.

Dick was confused for a moment before he was dragged into the building.

They were escorted up to the top floor which was a rooftop that was empty except for a singular dinner table set for two.

Since it was night time the place was candlelit with random rose petals lining a carpet.

"Wow." Is all Dick could get out.

"It's nice right." Wally put on a smirk but on the inside he was scared it was either too much or too little.

The ebony looked around a moment before turning to Wally and nodding.

Filled with happiness Wally and Dick went to sit down.

For a moment they were quiet but afterwards they started talking as if this was their first time meeting. They never got bored of each others company no matter the situation.

Eventually they were greeted with menus which Wally ordered for both of them. He had went a week before to check the place out so he was good.

Soon they were back to talking.
