2 MONTH SKIP

Prompt: Wally and Dick are talking more and eventually they start dating.

"Dude I'm just saying." Artemis and Dick walked next to each other through the park.

"If she really likes someone we should just let her be." Dick replied.

"But Zatanna always chooses the ugliest guys." Artemis groaned.

"She chose me." Dick shrugged.

"I stand by my point." She ignored the dirty look she received.

Just Dick was about to respond he heard a familiar voice calling out.

"Hey Dick." Wally called out while waving.

"Wally." Dick smiled.

"How's it going man?" Wally asked him.

"The usual, still adjusting to the new dorms though." Dick admitted.

"What? Not used to sharing such a cramped space?" Wally leaned in slightly with a mocking expression.

"I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if SOMEONE has agreed to being my roommate." Dick also leaned while smirking.

They stared at each other for a second before Dick pulled away.

"Well, I'll see you later Wally." He started speed walking away.

Artemis said a quick goodbye to Wally before walking after Dick.

"Anything to say for yourself?" Artemis asked as sweetly as possible.

"I fumbled that so hard." He mumbled into his hands.

Artemis broke into a fit of laughter while Dick blushed hard and thought back his past interaction.

"And here I was thinking you were most flirtatious guy in the world. Turns out you're just as nervous as anybody else." She spoke through her laughter.

"I was just unprepared." Dick shrugged and attempted to walk away from her.

"Yeah I can tell."

They continued walking and eventually they made it to the lecture hall where they found Professor Dinah holding the bridge of her nose.

"Hey Aunty Dinah." Dick greeted her.

"I'd prefer if you called me Professor but I'll let it slide for today." She huffed and shuffled some papers together.

"What's got you so annoyed." Artemis asked.

"I'm irritated. And it's because of your boyfriend." The woman pointed a finger at Dick.

"Him? Boyfriend?" Artemis laughed.

"First I could get one if I wanted to but I'm too busy at the moment and second I'm single." Dick corrected her.

"I'm talking about Wally." She replied.

Dicks face immediately changed from tan to red while Artemis snorted.

"He is not my boyfriend." There was a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"You wish though." Artemis dodged the slap coming for her shoulder.

"Despite what you two are, he is stressing me out and I need you to give him these." Dinah slid the papers over.

"And these are?" Dick asked.

"His missing assignments. Please help him finish these up and I want them all turned in by Friday for one major grade." She sighed and gave him a binder full of papers.

"This has got to be at least a semesters work." Artemis looked .

"You two can tell him that when you see him." Dinah walked.

"Two? I have things to do and jobs to attend." Artemis turned on her heel. "Good luck with him."

Artemis left the hall leaving Dick and Dinah by themselves.

"You like him don't you." Dinah sat down and pulled her hair out of its ponytail.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't." He shrugged and looked back.

"I'm a woman with a degree in psychology, if you think you're fooling me then think again." She took a swig of her coffee.

"It's probably just an itty bitty crush." Dick reasoned.

"Yeah okay kid." She smirked before sending him off with her binder.

Dick thought about his feeling a on the way to Wally's dorm.

On one hand, he was super hot, very nice and sickeningly sweet but on the other hand he did promise his dad he'd focus only on his studies.

'Sorry dad.'

Dick eventually made it to the dormitory where he pushed open the heavy door leading to Wally's dorm hall.

He was met with an odd but appealing sight.

Wally was shirtless and in boxers while squeezing water out of his shirt in the middle of the hallway.

"Oh hey Dick." Wally waved.

"Wally." Dick was using every nerve in his face to stop the blushing.

"Sorry for this," He pointed to his boxers, "Got chosen for a prank. Whole jug of Gatorade."

"Now he's all wet and sticky." Roy yelled from the other end of the hall while everybody else laughed.

Wally yelled back sone cusses before leading Dick back into his dorm.

"Sorry about that." He scratched his head.

"I'm not wet but y'know, sugar is sticky so." He trailed off.

They plopped down on the bed before Dick pulled open the binder.

"Your missing assignments." Dick showed him.

"Man, I have got to stop missing class." He stretched the back of his head.

"Dinah wants these turned in by Friday for one major grade." Dick continued.

"That's in 2 days." Wally was beginning to see the direness in the situation.

"Better get to work then." Dick started walking to the exit when Wally grabbed his hand.

"Wait!"

The black haired oby turned on his heel.

"Will you help me?" 

Dick couldn't help the blush that flew to his face. Wally had an awkward smile plastered on his face that made Dicks stomach turn.

"Please?" Wally asked again.

Dick nodded and promptly followed Wally back to his bed to finish up.

A/N: I AM SO SORRY THAT  THIS WASN'T OUT EARLIER. I'VE HAD FIINALS FOR ALL MY CLASSES AND ISSUES WITH FRIENDS BUT SHCOOL IS OVER SO I WILL BE TRYING TO UPDATE REGULARLY INSTEAD OF MONTHLY
