"I am here darling." The voice rang like an alarm in Taehyung's ears as he got alert immediately. He knows the tone very well and all he cares about was y/n. Anything to her is directly related to him. That's all he knows.

I looked ahead hearing the voice and saw a girl, or should I call her a lady entered. I don't know but she was giving off kinda weird vibes which I shrugged off at that moment. Afterall I have no right to judge anyone at the end I am just a pitiful girl whom Taehyung has kept in his house out of sympathy. I stared how she had worn a bit revealing dress. It was all red and she had a very big fat smile plastered on her face. Her hair left loose. Her heels making echoes throughout the whole hallway.

With a smirk she directly came and hugged Taehyung ignoring my presence. I felt a bit sad inside but afterall I have no rights on Taehyung. He didn't hugged her back but he didn't push her either. A thought came in my mind. He was calling Taehyung "Darling", does that means she is his girlfriend? But I thought he loved none.
This thought made me sad deeply and I could feel tears welling up in my eyes so I blinked rapidly to hide them. I can't fall weak just like that. How can I forget, Taehyung is nothing to me. He is just a friend. A friend that had helped me in my hard times. He deserves the whole world and this girl actually looked so much pretty and graceful. So much better than me. She looked like someone who had come from a rich family, and I am just an orphan after all.
I realised how much insecure I was being and that's maybe because I am finally falling for someone. Maybe because I am understanding what love is.
I just looked down playing with my fingers not wanting to feel sad anymore.

Y/n was busy in her deep thoughts when Taehyung slightly pushed his cousin and made a distance between them. He didn't liked the idea of hugging her like that infront of y/n at all, however he was bounded by his duties as a brother. Only if his cousin sister was normal but the way she would behave with him made Taehyung uncomfortable.
"Hey Tae, you got a new maid huh? I never saw such a young maid in the house. Also why is she so pale and did you really get her an expensive dress as the one she's wearing. Oh my god Tae you are really something. You are so innocent in this cruel world that you are wasting your money on a pitiful girl like her?" Amelia said pointing at y/n. Taehyung clenched his jaw hearing her harsh and rude words while y/n felt embarrassed as hell.
It was true, she didn't even looked like a friend of Taehyung rather just a maid for him and she was dreaming of being something more than friend to Taehyung. She thought. As the words pierced into y/n's heart because of the humiliation she faced tears almost wanted to come out of her eyes but she took a deep breath controlling herself and said in her mind,
Why are you being sad y/n? What's wrong in being a maid? It's true that I was from a good family and had dignity but being a maid can never be an insult. It's just it feels bad to be called the maid of the person precious to your heart but that's okay too, as long as he is happy. Atleast I have been considered as a human and not someone who is just there to work and to be abused that's not what humans go through do they?
Her thoughts got interrupted when Taehyung spoke. His face looked emotionless and quite opposite to how y/n was familiar with. His tone stated clearly that he was totally annoyed just by the presence of Amelia.
"Bite your tongue Amelia, she is not a maid. Also what's with that tone of yours aren't maids human too? They are the reasons we are so much helped out in our busy schedules. So they deserve equal respect too. And yes I do a lot for them and I will do everytime I get the chance. They leave their family and life behind just to help us. They work so hard so they deserve appreciation too. Last but not least she is Y/N. Remember her name because that's what you going to call her. She is a member of this family. My bestfriend and even more than that. She is very precious and close to me, I won't tolerate a single thing against her. Even if it's coming from my C.O.U.S.I.N S.I.S.T.E.R. I hope you got me."
Y/N looked up staring at Taehyung as he completed his words. He was looking straight into Amelia's eyes but had not a single minute expression on his face. Y/N felt like a burden got lifted up from her back when she got to know that Amelia was cousin of Taehyung. Unknowingly she smiles hearing Taehyung's thoughts about her and how much respectful he was. She thought how lucky she was that she found someone like him in her life. As if God gave her all the miseries and then sent Taehyung as an apology.
However amidst of all these thoughts she failed to notice the disgusted face that Amelia made glaring at her, eyeing y/n from top to bottom. However soon she changed her face as her lips curled up into a smile clearly showing it was fake.
"Come on Tae, how can you just make a random girl your family member?"
"Why can't I? It's my will to make her a family member. She has no problem, I have no problem, then what's your problem?" Taehyung said rolling his eyes and Amelia gave up knowing very well it's of no use. She just nodded her head.
"Anyways I hope you take care of me till I am here and Miss Y/N I wish to know you more." Amelia said coming close to y/n lifting her chin up and intentionally digging a bit of nail in her soft skin making her bleed immediately and hiss in pain.
The hiss made Taehyung snap his head towards y/n and saw the side of her face was bleeding but still Amelia was in no mood to leave her . While y/n was keeping quiet being a bit scared of Amelia.
Taehyung forcefully yanked Amelia's hand off y/n's face and caressed her wound immediately. His blood boiled seeing the amount of blood that was coming out but still y/n managed to hide her pain as she said almost in a whisper,
"I am okay." She could see well the concern that Taehyung had for her in his eyes which was giving a different kind of relief to her.
"Are you blind Amelia? Look how badly she got hurt." Taehyung said fuming in anger but still controlling himself.
"Omo, I am so sorry Y/N. It wasn't intentional at all."
"It's okay. I am not hurt." Y/N's innocent self forgave her immediately hearing her apology.
"Come I will apply some ointment there." Taehyung said grabbing y/n's wrist as gently as possible taking her to his room while Amelia stood there gritting her teeth.
"Kim Taehyung is just mine. I have been trying to make him fall for me for so long, I can't let you take him away from me. I will snatch him. Just wait and watch y/n. This heavenly life of yours will turn into a hell very soon. I will make sure that happens."
