Chapter 18

"I wish you loved me."
The words came out in a low whisper and unfortunately Taehyung was not able to hear it. All he saw was y/n dozed off holding his arm keeping her head on his shoulder. Y/n really liked the warmth that she was getting from Taehyung.

At the same time Taehyung was feeling euphoric seeing his love so close to him. It was not the first time, but y/n intentionally laid her head on his shoulder which made him realise that how much comfortable she was with him. Yes, he successfully was getting close to her. What else did he want? Nothing.

He slowly turned towards y/n's side and made her lay down slowly yet making sure she was comfortable enough and after tucking her under the blanket he caressed her hair. She looked so innocent and cute while sleeping that Taehyung couldn't help but to admire her beautiful facial features.

"Sleep well, love. I am so happy that you accepted being a part of this family. I promise I will turn all your sadness into absolute happiness. I will take care of you so well that you will become healthy and fit."

He murmured in a low voice but soon a realisation hit him that he needs to take as much care as possible. He still remembers what the doctor said and he will prove them wrong. He was determined to fight against the whole world and even destiny if needed but he won't let anything happen to y/n, his y/n.

Finally switching off the lights of the room he made his way towards his room. As soon as he entered his room, his phone started ringing.

《Taehyung》

After I made sure, y/n was sleeping comfortably I made my way towards my room. I was thinking about a few work related things but my phone suddenly started ringing bringing my attention back to reality. I opened the phone and my eyes got widened at the ID. No way, she's calling I thought and gritted my teeth in anger knowing very well that this is not a good sign. Everytime she would come, my life would have everything wrong. That's Amelia. Well I don't know her Korean name, no one actually knows. She is a rich father's spoilt brat. As much as I hate her I cannot avoid her because she is my cousin. Being relatives is a real pain, you can't really cut ties with them, no matter how much you hate them.

My parents don't think her as wrong because obviously they don't know her intentions but I never liked her. She would always act cringe with me. Trying to know if I am having any girlfriend or am I dating anyone. At first I thought she was really nosey type but slowly she started trying to be clingy with me which I hated. I might not know her true intentions but they are not very positive.

I sighed knowing very well that I need to pick the call up, that's like a duty. No matter how big of a Mafia I am I can never ignore the duties I had as a son. This was one of them. To make sure my relatives and specially my cousin is at peace.

《On Call》

Taehyung :- Hello!

Amelia :- Oh my god, Tae darling you took so long to pick my call. I missed you for these months so much. Sometimes you should also call your pretty cousin shouldn't you?

Taehyung :- Well, I am not like you who lives off their father's money. I have my business to look after so I am not always free. Also I said you so many times don't use the words 'darling' for me. I am your God damn cousin brother, it's really awkward.

Amelia :- Ooo Tae, you get angry so easily. However it's okay, I forgive you. Afterall I love you.

Taehyung  :- WHAT?!!!

Amelia :- Oh God, like a cousin brother ofcourse. You are so silly. Hahaha. Anyways I called you to inform I am coming to Seoul for the next month. I have a workshop for my college. Now my dad didn't wanted me to stay at a hotel, you know a girl all alone, then aunty also approved so I am going to stay with you in your private house.

Taehyung :- What but why ? You could just easily stay with Mom, Dad ?

Amelia :- Oh come on, the place where workshop will be held is near your place.

Taehyung  :- Okay, fine if you say so. I will talk to you later.

Amelia :- Sure, and I hope you miss me. I love you.

Taehyung :- Hmmm.

《Taehyung 》

I knew it, she can't stay long without creating problems. However I won't let her mess with y/n. I would have to make sure she doesn't affects her at any cost. Otherwise I will forget all my duties and relations I have. My love has already faced a lot. She deserves only love and care which I will provide her with.

《A/N》

Taehyung finally threw his phone a bit frustrated making it fly but landed safely on the couch. The next moment he laid down on his bed and tried to divert his mind from Amelia. His mind automatically after wandering around got stuck at y/n which made him smile automatically.

As soon as his innocent face flashed infront of his closed eyes he started smiling to the fullest. So much that anyone would think he had turned crazy. Well that was somewhat true as per him, because he did turn crazy in love. He started remembering all those little moments they have shared till now . He also started planning his next day with y/n which was a surprise and eventually he got so excited that he hugged the pillow beside him and rolled off the bedsheets smiling and blushing like crazy living in his little imaginations.

Soon he fell into a deep slumber thinking all these things.
