Chapter 34

When y/n asked the question Taehyung halted for a moment. Second thoughts clouded his mind. That day has finally come when he needs to say the truth. But he will not let her leave him at all. So with a bit of nervousness Taehyung said,

"I am the renowned Mafia King, Kim Taehyung." Y/n was shocked and maybe a bit upset that how come he never opened up about it and it was clear from his expressions.

Taehyung held y/n's one hand in between his two hands, his eyes pleading her.

"I know I should have told you before only but again I was scared you will leave me once you get to know what I am. It's odd but I was a coward who had the information hid. I am really sorry and I promise I am not a bad person. Infact I rather work for the betterment of the common people. It's true that sometimes I have to use weapons and kill but I promise I will never let anything happen to you. I will keep you like a queen. Please don't leave me. Please." He said, his voice cracking up and y/n slightly smiled before caressing his cheek making Taehyung confused.

"Tae, I know you are not a bad person. I would never leave you. Anyways who do I have in my life except for you. You are the only person. I can never leave you. Even if the whole world was against you I would still be with you." Y/n said as she teared up as well but Taehyung immediately wiped her tears. He was grateful that she wasn't leaving him.

He realised how much she loves him. However instead of telling how he felt through words he rather chose to show her. He cupped her cheeks and very slowly placed his lips on her. Kissing her really softly.

When y/n realised, she too wrapped her arms around Taehyung's shoulders while Taehyung wrapped his arms around her waist, slowly pulling her close but making sure her body wasn't hurt.

The kiss was filled with true love, their longing for each other and both of them melted into each other's arms.

~A few hours later~

Y/n fell asleep shortly after because her body was still weak. Meanwhile the doctor had informed Taehyung, that she should take complete bedrest for the next few days as well.

Some noises made her wake up and immediately she became happy seeing the faces. It was Taehyung's parents and all the friends.

"Omo my daughter are you okay?" Taehyung's mom said as she was the first one to notice her. Y/n slightly nodded her head and tried to get up and Taehyung's mom helped her to sit slowly.

"You know I was so scared after Taehyung informed about your condition. I am glad you are okay now." She said hugging y/n lightly.

"Eomma don't worry, nothing much happened to me. I am all okay now." She said smiling and Mrs. Kim patted her head nodding.

"Y/naah you should not take much stress. If that Taehyung does anything you will tell us. We will see who hurt our sister." Jin said and y/n just laughed a little at his words.

Everyone was very much tensed when they got to know what happened to y/n suddenly. It's odd how her life suddenly came just at the edge when in the morning itself they saw her all fine.

"Guys, let's go now. Y/n can go home." Taehyung said as he entered inside the room. A few nurses came in helping y/n to get changed while the others waited outside.

"Mom, dad and Hyungs you all go first. I will go with Kook and Y/n." He said and everyone agreed. Jungkook went outside to get his car ready while Taehyung went inside the room where y/n was trying her best to walk but eventually stumbled and was about to fall when Taehyung immediately wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Are you okay? Why are you trying to walk love? You know doctor said not to do so." He said, his voice was filled with concern and care for her that touched y/n's heart immediately.

Taehyung without speaking anything else, picked up her in his arms. Y/n held him tightly as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

For Taehyung she felt like a feather which made him realise that it's really unhealthy to be that much lightweight and she needs nourishment in a great amount.

He carried her towards the car, y/n's eyes stuck on Taehyung's face. Sometimes she wonders how can someone love her that much. She has nothing not even the guarantee that she will live with him. But still he has decided to stick to her.

There are so many people who leave their partners just because they fail to satisfy them somehow. They leave them for money, for looks and for what not. And then there's Taehyung, he has everything, a family, friends, name, fame, money and on top of that he looks so handsome and we'll built. He could get any girl if he wanted to but still he insisted being with her.

She knows very well that he isn't doing all these things just because he sympathises her. He loves her a lot and she knows that.

She would have avoided a Mafia King in general but if it was Taehyung she was ready to accept everything. She loves him too much to give up on him at any cost.

Taehyung settled in the backseat of the car as y/n sat beside him. He had his one arm still wrapped around her shoulder from one side while she kept her head on his shoulder.

Taehyung was busy caressing her hair to make her feel comfortable and even though she felt a bit tired she couldn't really sleep.

She was busy listening to Taehyung's heartbeat that was normal but still felt something different in y/n's ear. She smiled by herself when she remembered how Taehyung said his every heartbeat had her name written on them.
