Chapter - 37

"Taehyung, it's urgent you need to come NOW!!"

Taehyung's pov

I heard the voice and I knew who it was. It was Jimin. What was more concerning is that his voice seemed all tensed. I can't let y/n take stress again. She needs rest.

I looked at y/n who was staring at me with confused eyes.

"Love, I will be back just now. You stay here. And if you want you can watch some Kdramas in my laptop." I said and she nodded. I opened the door and as I expected it was Jimin, all stressed out.

"What is it?" I asked as he pulled me out of the room. Ofcourse he as well doesn't wants y/n to hear anything. Everyone knows what the doctor had prescribed.

"Tae, I had something to tell you about Amelia." He visibly gulped as he took the name. Well she is concerning for sure. Specially after what she said in the morning. I can't trust her blindly.

Only if I hadn't the pressure from mom and dad, I wouldn't have to face her. I shrugged my thoughts and looked at Jimin waiting for what he wants to say.

"Actually I a-actually" He stuttered and I felt a bit annoyed. I maintained my calm and said again.

"What is it Jimin, tell me clearly please."

"She-" Before he could complete a loud scream was heard from my bedroom. My blood went cold because y/n was alone in the room.

I immediately ran towards the room followed by Jimin and the scene infront of me, made me go numb.

There was blood pool everywhere, y/n standing horror stricken with a knife in her hand that has blood, there's Amelia who was screaming and then a dead body of a guard. It was his blood everywhere.

"W-what is happening here?" I could feel a lump forming in my throat as my first instincts were to check upon y/n. I ran towards her taking the knife out of her hand. She wasn't even responding and standing like a stone.

"Y/n, y/n what happened?" My eyes went towards Amelia and I am sure she must have done something.

As I hugged y/n hiding her in my embrace I asked Amelia, "What did you do?"

She seemed surprised or maybe she acted to be surprised.

"WHAT I DID? SERIOUSLY TAE, YOUR Y/N KILLED HIM. INFRONT OF ME."

No, that can't be true, my y/n isn't capable of killing anyone.

"STOP LYING, SHE CAN'T KILL ANYONE. LOOK AT HER CONDITION."

Her face showed pure anger but I don't care if it's anger or whatever it is .

"If you trust her so much why not ask her?" I turned my gaze towards y/n who was only looking at the dead body.

I tried to be calm as much as possible.

"Y/n, are you listening to me?"

She didn't even look at me and straightaway said, "I killed him. I am a killer now. Tae I am a killer." She was numb, no emotions, nothing.

"Stop it." I mumbled hugging her tighter. I can't see her like this.

I was neither believing my eyes nor ears. Immediately a few guards came inside as ordered by Jimin who took the dead body of the guard away and cleaned the mess within a wink of an eye. I made y/n sit on the bed as Jimin too came near. I saw from the corner of my eyes Amelia who was standing there with a face red in anger.

What is she even angry about?

I sat beside y/n and cupped her cheeks making her gaze divert towards me as our eyes met I saw tears in them.

"Y/n, tell me what happened hm? I know you didn't kill him without any reason." This time her tears finally rolled down her cheeks as she hugged me tightly as if the moment she lets me go I will disappear.

"Tae, I was sc-scared. I w-was very much scared." She hiccuped while speaking as I rubbed her back and tried to calm her down.

"It's okay y/n. Relax hm. I am here look. Nothing will happen to you."

"Huh! Emotional drama." Amelia spatted but I ignored her not wanting to create a problem but a slap sound was heard.

I looked at the side and it was Jimin who slapped Amelia.

My mind went blank seeing him like that. Jimin was a very calm person. He normally didn't get angry easily. But when he does he is worst.

"What happened?" I asked staring at Amelia who was sitting on the floor holding her cheeks that was slapped.

"Tae, she is the one behind everything. I would tolerate anything but she's the reason y/n is in this condition." Jimin said and Amelia made a cry face as I could feel y/n trying more and more to curl up into a ball.

I pulled her in my lap providing her as much warmth as possible. Hiding her completely from what was happening outside.

"WHY ARE YOU ALL BLAMING ME?!!" Amelia yelled and instead recieved another slap on her face.

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH." Jimin turned towards me and said,

"Now that it has happened, this is what I was about to tell. She was bribing a guard. And it's the same guard that got killed. I might have not heard what she said to the guard but it must be something she wanted to do against y/n." I saw how Amelia was glaring at Jimin, which clearly represents that he was saying the truth.

I took a deep breath not wanting to burst infront of y/n.

"Jimin, you go now, I will handle this matter later." Jimin nodded his head and Amelia still insisted on staying.

"Amelia, I won't repeat again. GET OUT!" Hearing me, she went out of the room hurriedly. I sighed looking at y/n who was already asleep in my arms.

I failed again to protect you, why do I keep failing? No, Amelia's presence is not very good for your health. I need to do something immediately.

I looked at the sleeping figure as I laid her on the bed. Her cheeks had dried tears, that made my heart feel a knot. I caressed her head as I kissed on the forehead.

I would have regretted so much if I hadn't found you in my life, y/n.

I promise, I will turn all your sadness into complete happiness. Whatever happened today, I know you can't be at fault. I trust you more than myself.

I will heal you completely.
