Chapter 31

"Because this is my mall." With shocked expressions y/n stared at Taehyung who just chuckled at her pure innocence.

She was busy looking around and would sometimes run towards a dress, touch it and then check the price tag. However after checking the price she would have a frown on her face, and then move forward. Like this she had checked tons of dresses, accessories, shoes, and makeup. However she took none of them.

Y/n pov

Everything around here, looks so beautiful. I have always seen my sisters wear all these kind of dresses and makeup but they are more costly than the ones my cousins used to have. It's sad but thinking about that if I went to buy them Taehyung might have problem.

I am already a burden for him and he already gives me so much, I don't think I need anything anymore. But if I don't buy anything then Tae will get to know that I am trying to avoid. He might feel bad. So I looked over and found a classic blue dress that drew my attention. Competitively it's price was lesser than the other ones. I think I should tell Tae that I want this.

Without turning I said, "Can I have this dress. That's it nothing else." But something made me turn, "Pack all these and this one and make the bill".

I saw behind Tae there were a few staffs who had all those items in trollies that I had touched till now.

"Tae, but I only asked for this. Also they are too many. They are really costly." I said and Taehyung had a smile on his face.

He bent down to my level and slowly bopped my nose with his and said,
"Do you really think I don't know how much you liked each of them? Also y/n will like something and Taehyung won't buy that for her, is that even possible? I know what you are thinking, I don't have enough money to buy all these, or are you thinking that it's too much burden for me? These all things are nothing, I said na this whole mall is mine. If you want I can get you everything present here. Your lover has a lot of capabilities."

I didn't knew what to say anymore. The more I get to know him, I realise that all those painful days finally paid off real well. It feels like a beautiful dream and I wish to never wake up from this. But then one question always strikes my mind,

"Do I really deserve this?" Tae cupped my cheeks making me look into his love filled eyes.

"You deserve the whole world y/n. You have bravely faced so much pain in your life, it's time you enjoy. It's time you actually live the life. And I will make sure you do so." He said and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. I nodded happily taking his hand into mine.

We made our way out of the shopping mall and went towards our car, when a loud pain filled scream was heard making me flinch and I saw Tae immediately took a defending position immediately hugging me.

A/n pov

A sudden scream made Taehyung alert immediately. They were almost near there car and he suddenly saw a girl almost drenched in blood screaming and soon a few gun shots were heard. Taehyung quickly took out his gun and sent a signal to Jungkook through his watch that was connected with security service. Making it possible for his guards and friends alert. Two guards immediately came to cover Taehyung and y/n. He looked down and saw y/n who was hugging him.

She heard the gun shots too making her really scared. He parted from the hug and made her look towards him. She had teary eyes but she wasn't crying.

"Y/n, listen it's an emergency situation. They will escort you to the car. Sit inside it and don't come out no matter what. Don't open the windows and wait inside. I need to go." He said and was about to leave but y/n immediately clutched onto his hand tightly.

"No, w-where are you going? What if something happens to you? Please don't go." She said almost crying but Taehyung knew it was an attack from the enemy group. Being the Mafia King he had to fight.

"Y/n, I promise I will be back safe." He said and forcefully removed her hand but she kept crying, her blurry eyes could only see Taehyung, who was now in total attack position. He was fighting and had most of the goons dead already. Still there were many.

Y/n was supposed to go inside the car but she didn't move an inch from her position. She felt her legs to be too heavy to move. The guards were trying to take her towards the car but couldn't force knowing she was the mafia's girl and no one was allowed to touch her.

She wanted to run towards Tae, but at the same time seeing the crossfire made her whole body stiff. She was panicking but soon felt a bit relief when she saw Jungkook has reached there with some more guards and soon Taehyung had all the goons under control.

He saw and the whole area got empty. It was just them and dead bodies along with pools of blood everywhere. However what he didn't notice was there was another man behind him who suddenly took the gun in his hand pointing at Taehyung. However y/n saw it and she quickly ran from otherside and hugged Taehyung from the back making him stop at his position and a gun shot was heard .

As soon as Taehyung heard the gunshot he felt his hands trembling. Y/n was covering him and what if she got shot. Bad thoughts clouded in his mind but he immediately pulled y/n into his embrace. She was okay. Crying but physically okay.

It was Jungkook who shot the man on time making everyone present their feel relieved.

He looked towards y/n who had now stopped crying but still in his embrace. Taehyung's heart was still beating fast from the bad thoughts.

"Why did you do that? I told you not to come here? What if something had happened to you? What if you got shot?" Taehyung said, his tone showed that he was clearly mad but still controlling himself.

Y/n this time looked up parting from the hug, she wiped her tears with the back of her hand and looked at Taehyung innocently.

"Why? I just wanted to save you." She says and Taehyung just can't believe she was still thinking about him on a situation like that.

"But why? Why would you risk yourself? You know how much scare I WAS?" Taehyung's voice showed clear disappointment as he said in a bit loud tone.

He turned around the otherside knowing if he let his madness out, y/n won't be able to face it.

Jungkook came forward and patted Taehyung's back to calm him down. He wasn't angry on y/n, he was frustrated with himself because one mistake and something worse could have happened to y/n. He should have been more careful.

"It's okay Hyung, look she's fine. We all are fine. Don't be like that. Y/n needs you right now."

"I would have died anyway if something had happened to you." Y/n said almost whispering but clear for Taehyung to hear. He felt bad, it was not y/n's fault. Afterall she just wanted him to be safe. Also if it was him in her place, he would have done the same thing.

He turned to say sorry but his eyes got widened seeing her. Blood coming out of her nose, and she looked quite pale suddenly. Before she lost her balance Taehyung caught her in his arms.

All his madness and anger was long gone and now replaced with panic and concern.

Before he could say anything any further y/n laid in his arms, unconscious.
