Location: Ace and William's shared office, a cluttered yet cozy workspace filled with various mechanical parts, tools, and several computers. A secure laptop sits prominently on one of the desks, almost as if beckoning the two men to unveil its secrets.

William: (Walking in, carrying a cup of coffee) Morning, Ace. Did you sleep well?

Ace: As well as one can sleep after a day like that. Ready to dig into this program?

William: (Taking a sip of coffee) More ready than I'll ever be.

(Ace boots up the secure laptop and inserts the USB drive. A few clicks later, they find themselves staring at the program interface.)

Ace: Alright, I'm initiating the program. Hold onto your hat; we don't know what we're dealing with here.

(Ace clicks "Run," and the screen goes black for a moment before a new window pops up. The cursor blinks expectantly.)

William: Well, it didn't explode, so that's a good start.

Ace: (Types in a few lines of code to bypass any initial security.) And...we're in.

(The screen changes, now displaying a seemingly innocuous program interface. A prompt at the bottom says "Awaiting User Input.")

William: What does it want?

Ace: Let's find out. (He starts typing, trying to access the source code.)

(The screen flashes, and a 3D model resembling a rabbit appears, rotating slowly on the screen. It looks oddly similar to the Spring-Bonnie Prototype they once worked on.)

William: (Eyes widening) What the...?

Ace: This looks like a highly advanced AI interface. Far beyond anything we've been working on.

William: And it's based on our old Spring-Bonnie prototype. How is that possible?

(Just then, the screen flickers, and a message appears: "Error: Lock-Down Mode Engaged.")

Ace: (Frowning) Looks like we've hit a wall. It's locked us out.

William: Do you think you can bypass it?

Ace: Not here, not now. We need to go through the code meticulously to see what's really going on. This could take time.

William: Time we may not have.

The two men look at each other, a new sense of urgency falling over them. Whoever is behind this program has access to their past and potentially the know-how to create a future neither Ace nor William want to see happen.

William: We need to find out who did this, Ace. Before they do something we can't reverse.

Ace: Agreed. We've got our work cut out for us.

William: And it starts with cracking this program.

The program, now dormant but far from innocuous, sits on the laptop's screen like a ticking time bomb, waiting for the next move in a game that Ace and William are only beginning to understand.
