Location: William's home, in a warm and elegantly furnished dining room. A large dining table is set with an elaborate meal. William's family, including Evan, is present. Ace, his family, and Henry with Hazel are also there.

William: (Raising his glass for a toast) To family and friends, and to overcoming challenges together.

Everyone: Cheers!

(Glasses clink, and everyone takes a sip before setting their glasses back down)

Hazel: That was quite an adventure you two had.

Henry: Indeed. We owe you both for keeping our families safe.

Ace: We're just glad it's over. Isn't that right, William?

William: Absolutely. It's behind us now.

Evan: (Looking at Ace) Thanks for helping me with the nightmares, Uncle Ace. I've been sleeping a lot better now.

Ace: Anything for family, kiddo. Just make sure you're not watching too many horror movies before bed, okay? (Looking at Michael)

Michael: (looking up to see all of them looking at him) Huh? What did I do?

Ace: We know how you are during October Mike.

Michael: yeah yeah ok, fine.

Evan: (Laughs) Deal!

Star: Dad, can we have dessert now?

Ace: Oh, right. I brought the apple pie.

William: Ah, the famous apple pie. Let's get that on the table.

(Ace walks over to the kitchen counter where the pie is stored and brings it over to the table. He places it in the center and takes a seat.)

Henry: It's nice to get together like this, especially after what's happened.

William: Agreed. Let's make a point to do this more often.

Ace: Sounds good to me.

Hazel: (Cutting a piece of pie for Henry) So, what's next for the dynamic duo of robotics?
William: Well, I think we could both use a break. But there are still so many possibilities to explore.

Ace: True, but we'll be more cautious this time. We learned our lesson the hard way.

William: Well, let's just focus on tonight. A night to relax, enjoy good food, and appreciate the company of those we care about.

Ace: I'll toast to that.

(Glasses raise again, another cheer, and the clinking of glass fills the room.)

Everyone: Cheers!

And with that final cheer, they all settle into the comfort and safety of being together, grateful for the challenges they'd overcome and for the peace they've found—at least for now.

And there you have it. Just a small short story to make up for not updating my main book. I should hopefully get back to it soon. Still have some writers block 😕 See y'all on the flip side!
