She sat at her desk with her chemistry book open. She couldn't focus on her homework. All she could think about was the advice Chocho gave her earlier.

Flashback

"You're only torturing yourself. Stop staring at them."

She pried her eyes away from the sight of Boruto and Sumire. She couldn't make out what they were saying, but if she had to guess, Boruto cracked a dumb joke and Sumire ate it up. She was giggling with a hand covering her mouth.

"I can't help it. Since she declared she would be pursuing Boruto the other day, I cant help but watch."

Chocho closed the locker and spun the knob, "So do something about it. Don't let her win" She encouraged.

Sarada threw her head back, "How would I do something like that? Go up to him and say 'hey bolt, i know we've been friends since we learned to walk but i need to tell you thatimactualllysofreakinginlovewithyouandifyourejectmeijustmightthrowmyselfoffthestonefaces'?"

Her friend blinked, "Okay on second thought why don't we avoid direct contact?" She put tapped on her chin, "Oh I know! Why don't you write him a letter!"

"A letter? What are we? in the 1900s?" Chocho rolled her eyes, "It's either an anonymous letter or you text him"

"Letter it is!"

She ripped a fresh clean piece of paper from her notebook and placed it in front of her. She scrambled to find her lucky pen.

Can't believe I'm doing this

She started the letter with Dear Boruto, she had to take a pause to cringe. She never thought she'd be doing something this corny.

Once she got over her embarrassment, her pen glided on the white sheet of paper. With only messing up a total of 3 times, she finished. She fished for an envelope to put her letter in. She sealed it with a heart sticker and stuck it in her chem book.

She climbed into her bed after doing her night routine. She connected her earbuds, ending the night listening to Lana Del Rey.

She honked the horn outside of Chocho's house. They usually rode together to and from school.

The chubby girl came out shoving a notebook into her bag. She accidentally dropped it and papers were flying onto the lawn. Sarada giggled at the sight and opened the door to help her distressed friend.

Pulling out of the driveway, Chocho shuffled through her purse to find a good shade of lipstick to match her orange outfit.

"So, did you write it?" She outlined her bottom lip with a peach lipliner.

"Yeah, I did."

The girl whipped her head and gave an excited smile. "No way! You did?! Oh my gosh I didn't think you'd actually do it! I mean you never take my advice so why is it this time..." The girl continued to ramble on and on about Sarada's stubbornness all the way to school.

Walking down the halls, Chocho tried to give her a game plan on to how to deliver the letter. "What about gym class? Say you have to use the bathroom  and then slip the letter in his locker?" Sarada nodded. "That's not a bad idea."

The sound of an all familiar giggle caught her attention. She internally rolled her eyes all the way to hell. Giggling will only take her so far.

"Okay, homegirl needs to try a different approach cause Boruto is NOT that funny. She's def dragging it" A tired Chocho said.
