It's been a couple of days since she's had dinner with Boruto. He hasn't contacted her since he asked for her number. Just as quick as he entered her life, the quicker he left.
She tried to act like it didn't bother her but it did. Whenever her phone vibrated, she jumped to check if the notification from him. Then disappointment scribbled over her face.
She laid in bed scrolling through her phone. She felt pathetic as she stalked Boruto's feed. He posted a photo just 3 hours ago. It was him promoting his cover of this month's Vogue. She reasoned with the fact that maybe he didn't text her because he was busy.
To be fair he wasn't an ordinary person like her. He doesn't have a normal 9-5. He probably has a tight schedule for someone as successful as him.
Closing the app, she decided to call it a night.

Meet me at TB at 7pm tomorrow. -BorutoHer heart skipped a beat as she read the notification. She really didn't think he'd text her. She thought he only asked for her number to be kind and all. Oh who is she kidding? She hoped he'd text her that's why she was acting all crazy.
She texted him back and decided to add him to her contact list. Call her delusional, but she knows this won't be the last time they text.

Her shift ended at Thunder Burger and she had an hour to kill. Her stomach was grumbling in the last hour so she decided to drive into town. She went to the sweets shop and bought a couple of sugary foods.
She knows she should be eating actual food, but she wanted something sweet. She grabbed a stick of Dango and a chocolate taiyaki. She figured she'd grab something for Boruto.
It's rude to show up with food and not have any for the other person. She thought. She scanned the shelves to see what a celebrity would like. She skipped over the jelly beans and lollipops. With his straight and white teeth, she didn't think he'd be too fond of them.
She found herself in the pastry aisle and hovered over the buns. Red bean, black bean, strawberry, chocolate....there were so many flavors, she couldn't decide.
It's best to play it safe. She ended up with the red bean bun because who doesn't like red bean?
She drove back to the parking lot and checked the time. 6:50pm. She spent a lot of time in the sweets shop than she thought.
A pair of headlights caught her attention. A blue sports car had parked next to her. The window rolled down and revealed the Uzumaki who came to collect her.
"I thought you had a red car?" She said as she closed to door next to her.
"Oh, that was a rental. This is my car. It was in the shop that day." He casually said.
It didn't go without notice that this blue car was more luxurious than the last. "What kind of car is this?" She asked curiously.
"A ferrari. The rental was a stingray." He pulled out of the parking lot and headed out to the highway.
She didn't know much about cars, but when a car went vroom vroom, she knew it was out of her tax bracket. But onto more important matters, she had to know why he took so long to text her.
"What did you do this week?" She started.
"I was working. My mom wanted me to make a guest appearance on her cooking show on Monday. Then I had to fly to Kirigakure to do a fitting for an upcoming fashion show I'm leading. That took about two days. Finally, I shot a cover for Vogue magazine. You might've seen it on instagram."
