Borusara Oneshots

Reign Pt 1

This os is HEAVILY inspired by the show Reign. I felt like this would be perfect considering the main characters on the show have the same color palate as boruto and sarada! However I will be changing a lot of things since the show is WILD.

Engaged since childhood to the future king of Konoha, Sarada awaits her return to the Leaf's Court. There was no particular countdown. She had to be ready when she was called. Or when he was crowned.

For now she had to live with the nuns back in her homeland. There were numerous attempts on her life for so many years that her mother had to put her daughter in hiding.

So there Sarada sat, at the dinner table, with the nuns. But she didn't know that this would be her last dinner.

One of the nuns stared at her. Sarada noticed this and thought it was rather unusual. She raised a brow expressing her concern. They sat there still. And then something unusual happened.

Foam started coming out of her mouth. Blood started spilling out of her ear and nose. She ended up face planting on the table.

Chaos erupted. The nuns running around throwing the food off the table and tossing dishes. Screams were being heard and Sarada was still.

A nun brought back her attention by yelling, "Save Sarada! Take that plate away!" And then another nun swiping her dinner off the table.

A nun brought her out to the front shakily commanding, "You must leave immediately. This was an assassination attempt. You were almost poisoned." She grabbed Sarada by the arm leading her to the carriages.

Sarada was in distraught, "But sister didn't know!"

The nun quickly said, "She was your taster. Every meal you've eaten has been tasted for poison since you were born." She put her hand on her face and reminded, "Sarada you are the Queen of the Land of lightning."

Sarada hated that. She hated that lives were lost and always at risk because of that title.

She was led to the carriage that was prepared in the back. When the door opened she was met with everyone from the nunnery.

"Do not worry Sarada. You won't be alone. Your friends will be with you." The nun said. "You're going to be safer in the Leaf's court. You're nearly a woman and Boruto is nearly a man. It's about time."

Sarada grew nervous from her words. The nun saw this and pulled her in for a hug. After gaining courage, Sarada climbed in the carriage and fled off.

In Konoha

Boruto ran up the stairs of the palace, returning from his morning ride. A door opened and Kawaki stepped out.

"Kawaki" He greeted

"Boruto? They've been looking everywhere for you. Tough to find you." He informed.

"Ah, I was riding." As he tucked in his shirt.

Kawaki shot a playful smirk, "Really? Who?"

They both laughed at the awful joke. Boruto turned around so that Kawaki could help him strengthen out the back of his collar.

"Alright, I'm off now that you're here" He gave him a pat on his shoulder and descended the stairs. Boruto shook his head and mumbled, "Lucky Bastard"

He entered the room where his mother and father were discussing the arrival of Sarada. Along the hallway, were women sitting on the chairs listening to their conversation. Boruto walked down the hall with a look of annoyance on his face.
