Hey guys this one is about the story leading up to Sarada's and Boruto's breakup. Sarada left him because she got overwhelmed with his fame & money. His family are like the Kardashians of the world LOL.

She threw the magazine across the room and she covered her eyes with her hands. It's been a month since she's last seen him. Not counting the times he's showed up on the internet or on posters and magazines. As much as she tried to escape him, she couldn't.

After she left him, she changed her phone number and blocked him on all her social medias. She didn't want him to contact her, not after everything that had happened. She was glad she never told him where she lived either. Mostly because she was embarrassed.

Now she sits on the floor bawling over the announcement on the front page.

Boruto Uzumaki engaged to Sumire Kakei! The two were seen together leaving Amore's five star restaurant with a ring on Sumire's finger!

Sarada knew that the magazines were all lies. Most of the time they fabricate the truth and turn it into something else. Other times, celebrities put on a public show for more attention or publicity.

But the ring on her finger was real. That's all Sarada had to know. They really are engaged.

Tears escaped her eyes. She shook her head to tell herself that this wasn't real.

But it was.

She regrets ever meeting him. Wishing she could take it all back so that she didn't have to feel this heartbreak.

She wished she never took that shift. That stupid extra shift.

January 20th, 2023

Sarada clocked in for her extra shift. She worked as a waitress for Thunder Burger. It was supposed to be her day off, but a co worker called off and asked Sarada to cover for them. She easily agreed as she came to the conclusion that she needed the money.

She lived with her mother in an apartment complex. The neighborhood wasn't so bad if you ignored the random gun shots that occurred once a week. It's been her and her mother for about 5 years. Her father was in the military but passed away in combat. It was hard  the first year, mentally and financially. Unfortunately, ever since his death, they've been struggling ever since.

Sakura was a nurse at a hospital. She worked 13 hour shifts for 4 days every week. When she wasn't working, she did her online classes. She wanted to be a doctor and was currently in her last year at medical school.

With all the stress her mother goes through, she's grown concerned. She knows it's her mother's dream to become a doctor so she held off her own plans to help.

Medical school and house bills weren't cheap. Sakura used Sasuke's G.I bill to pay for her bachelor's degree, so the debt came from medical school.

"After I become a doctor, we'll be better off" Sakura used to say. She hated to see her 19 year old daughter work in a burger joint just to help pay the bills. She has so much potential to become something great. That's why with every paycheck she gets, she puts aside some money to go towards Sarada's tuition.

Sarada tied her medium length hair up and the apron around her waist. She went to check with the hostess but she was not at her usual spot.

A boy burst through the door making the bells swing aggressively.

"Excuse-

The boy grabbed her arm and forcefully pulled her to the corner. He put his hand over her mouth to silence her.
