The Grandpa of Azur Lane

As me and the girls were leaving my ship Warspite asked me something about my armor.

"So Kaiser, how did you come across such... sturdy armor? It's like nothing any of us have seen before." She gestures to my chest piece.

"Ah this? I call it Elite Riot Gear. I got it from a war torn place called the Divide... Nuclear fire and nasty critters. Seen some creatures take down a monster 15x their own size with no losses." My story of the Divide peaked their interest "But I wasn't the one destined to walk that lonesome road, no that was meant for a man far more mysterious than myself... Last i saw I waved that man goodbye, I hope his luck held."

The 3 women walking with me to my bridge has indescribable faces, hearing of a world bathed in nuclear fire never sounds nice does it?

As we enter the bridge I notice ears on Warspite.. not to dissimilar to some of the traits from our operators but she is made via cubes... how does she have animal traits..?

"Hmm.. Hey Warspite?" I ask as she cranes her neck to look up at me "Yes what is it Sir Kaiser?" Sir... never liked being called Sir.. "For one please drop the 'Sir' I'm old but still capable. And for two: your ears. As you saw in that picture many of my friends had animal traits and I was wondering if they were real.." i said looking at her head.

"I- Yes they are real.. Why do you ask..?" Im not going to eat you little lady don't worry.

"Well I was going to ask if I may touch them, I won't just reach over and do so without permission after all."

She looked puzzled at my seemingly simple request before saying "I guess you may touch them... But please be gentle they are sensitive."

I reach my hand down to her ears, noticing my hands dwarf her head. She noticed this too and seemingly flinched.. I never mean to scare you...

As I started stroking her left ear I couldn't help but be amazed at their softness! Seems she was taken back by my gentle touch and was... actively nuzzling my hand?

I notice this and stop "I apologize War, I got carried away... But I must say they are softer than I could imagine.."

Belfast noticed this and spoke up shortly after "Seems Lady Warspite has found a new like. From the intel on you Sir Kaiser nothing suggested you were this gentle of a giant. I am personally glad to see such a gentleman."

I bowed my head thanks but couldn't help but say something "Please Belfast drop the "sir" makes me feel old. I am still relatively young."

Belfast is taken aback by my etiquette, If only she knew who helped raise me.

"I mean no offense Kaiser but you look old enough to be our grandfather, and you say your still young? Exactly how old are you?" George asked while staring at me, I forget I have white hair, then again I was born with this color it's not my age.

I chuckle "Heh, Well you three wouldn't believe me but I'm over 4000 years old. Yes I have white hair but that is because I was born with it. My hair doesn't show my age like humans."

I noticed their faces, mixture of shot and wonder. Called it.

Before we could continue my radio picked up an emergency communique

"THIS IS HORNET OF AZUR LANE THE SAKURA EMPIRE 1st CARRIER DIVISION IS ATTACKING SEND BACKUP PLEASE-"

I bolted to my bridge before turning to the 3 behind me

"Belfast go warn the Queen and quickly, I'm powerful enough to handle them but not for long. George, Warpsite im going to need your help."

They nodded, Belfast jumped from my ship and was running away. George and War were going to hop down but I stopped them. Time to show them what a Behemoth can do!

As my ships engines roar to life I put them into rear gear and pull out of the dock at blistering speed. Soon we are going full speed ahead.

*Timeskip 5 Minutes*

???: "Seems this is going to be your last sortie Azur Lane!" The red and brown Kitsune laughs manically

???2: "Yes dear sister let's show them the power of the 1st carrier division!"

The Fox sisters send out planes and start firing at Azur Lane. Hornet seems to be taking major damage.

Hornet dives away from more plane fire, desperately looking around the battlefield to find her comrades in similar scuffles except Unicorn..

Unicorn seems to be cornered by one of the sisters who summons a giant flaming spectral fox.

???: "Such a small morsel but food none the les-"

Soon a thundering noise fills the sky as what appear to be many shells and a halberd pierce the side of the Fox.

???: "So! Picking on a Kid? LET ME SHOW YA A GOOD FIGHT THEN, IM GONNA LAY YOU OUT!"
