I followed Angela and Carter back to Michael's cell, passing all the other killers I had just met. I could feel their eyes on me as I passed. I couldn't help but think about what the guards had told me about other nurses. If I was the only nurse and I'm new on top of that, how is this going to end? I'm not nearly experienced enough to handle one killer, let alone six.

"Nurse Y/N!" A voice called out to me as we walked down the eggshell white hall.

"Not the time, Stu." Cater said and kept going.

I stopped walking, though, figuring it was technically my job to listen to the patients. "Yes?"

"Are you going to stay?" He leaned his head up against the glass, stalling his own guards from getting through the door to bring him to dinner.

"Yes, I'm going to stay."

"Back up, Macher. You know the drill." The guards tapped against the glass, warning glares on their faces as they held up their weapons. The sight made me feel bad for Stu. Sure, he was a killer, but he only wanted to ask a question.

"I'll see you at dinner, Stu. Just listen to the guards for now." I spoke calmly to him, giving a reassuring smile. With a nod, he turned his back and disappeared into the cell.

"Maybe you are a good fit for this." Carter said with a chuckle before continuing forward to Michael's cell.

I watched as the guards did the same thing that they had before. They went into the cell and put handcuffs on his hands. This was going to be much more intense than just seeing his face. Now, I feel as though I have an obligation to watch over my patient.

I watched as they walked him out of the room. Both guards held their weapons up at him while leading him down the hall. This whole system felt unsafe to me. Michael was in handcuffs, and they were prepared for a fight, but considering he's escaped before made me question my decision on working here.

Each guard down the hall did the same thing with the other killers. They all knew where to go and stayed calm the entire time, making my job easy. Even though I've been to the cafeteria before, I still felt lost while walking down the maze like halls. So many turns and corners to hallways that all look the exact same. It was like a building in my dreams that doesn't make any sense.

Eventually, we made it to the cafeteria and went to the corner of the room. It was tucked away from the rest of the patients. I looked around to see everyone else free of handcuffs. I guess they aren't dangerous like my new patients are.

The guards all cuffed the killers hands to the table. Each looked like they've been through this a million times by now. The killers had enough space to move food to their mouths, and that's about it. Each guard backed away, acting as if even with the little reach they had, the killers could still attack them.

"What do we do now?" I turned to Carter.

"Well, the guards will get their food, so you don't need to worry about that. All you need to do now is sit with them. Try to make a bond." He had a soft face.

I looked at the table, noticing Micheal watching me. "How am I supposed to do that? They're killers."

"Just talk to them. They can't hurt you, not while I'm around." Carter placed a hand on my shoulder.

I watched Michael as he reacted. His face didn't move an inch except for his eyebrows. I swear I could see them move half a centimeter forward, glaring at carters hand.

"I'll try my best." I took my eyes off of Micheal for a second to smile at Carter. I went towards the table, looking at the only seat available.

On the right side of the table in order sat Michael, Billy, then Stu. On the left sat Bo, Tiffany, then Hannibal. The only chair free was on the very end of the table. I internally groaned at the fact that I have to sit beside Bo. He was the only one who wasn't so interested in me. Micheal probably wouldn't say anything, but he's still the only one who has actually attacked me in my own home. I wish I could sit on the other side with the creepily nice and proper Hannibal and the energetic Stu.

"Oh. You're going to sit here." Bo rolled his eyes as he waited for a guard to bring his plate.

"I need to sit beside my patient." I reasoned with him. Maybe it's a good thing I have to sit beside Bo. I might be able to make a better impression on him.

"Don't look at me like that. She's just a nurse. You know all nurses end up leavin' or dead." Bo glared right back at Micheal, who seemed mad at his comment of me.

It was really confusing watching Michael. I don't know him that well at all besides what he did on Halloween night. He seemed so mad at everyone else except me. In an odd way, I felt drawn to him. A want and need tugging at me from the inside to know what's going through his mind.

"Finally." Bo commented as the guard brought his food. I just sat and watched as they all ate. Unsure of what I was supposed to do. Nurses and staff don't eat with the patients, I'm not exactly sure when we are supposed to eat.

"You need to have your manners around the lady, Bo. She is here to help us after all." Hannibal spoke up from across the table. He did have his manners, eating calmly with a napkin on his lap. Bo, on the other hand, ate like an animal. There are no manners at all at the table from him.

Everyone else seemed to eat normally, besides Michael. He barely ate at all. Instead, it seemed as if he was more focused on watching me.
