"Why didn't you wake us up this morning?" Bo asked in a bothered tone. He was obviously irritated by the fact that the guards had to wake him up. I'm sure they aren't as nice as I am.

"I just had an... issue this morning. I'm sorry, I'll wake you all up from now on." I didn't want to bring up Emma, but Hannibal had other plans.

"You don't like that girl, do you?" He spoke loudly from the opposite side of the table.

"It doesn't matter right now, just enjoy your breakfast." I said. I can assume that Hannibal was already awake and heard Emma and I talking.

"Who does she think she is? She can't just talk to you like that." Billy spoke up. I wouldn't be surprised if he heard as well. His cell was very close to us after all.

"Calm down." A guard walked up with a stick, holding it at the back of Billy's head.

"Hey, no, he's alright." I stood up and walked over to the guard so I could get in between the two.

"He was getting angry, and we can't have that." The guard glared right through me, obviously not impressed with my actions.

"He can feel emotions. I'll talk to him, alright?" I spoke in a calm tone, trying to reason with the guard.

"Listen, new girl. We have a set of rules to follow. If he gets mad, then he gets aggressive. We can't have an aggressive serial killer in this sanatorium." The guard held the anger in his voice.

"I said I'll talk to him. It's my job to keep them calm, so let me do my job." My tone shifted from its once calm state to a much more demanding sound. I was getting sick of people getting in the way here. I'm just trying to do the thing that I was hired to do.

"Fine. Go talk to him." The guard lowered his weapon before moving his face closer to mine. "See what he does." It was threatening, but not good enough to scare me.

I turned my back on the guard, going back to my seat and sitting down. Everyone's eyes were on me. The killers and the guards both looked at me. The patients had admiration in their eyes while the guards looked judgemental.

"Eat your breakfast." I spoke in a calm voice as I looked at all the patients. Billy was already calmed down. He was barely even mad in the first place. The rest of the time was completely quiet as the patients ate their food.

"What's my day going to look like until dinner?" I asked Carter once everyone was finishing up.

"After breakfast is the therapy sessions. We have psychiatrists in the building, so you don't have to worry about that. Then they eat lunch. Now, this is where you come in. After lunch is the activity time. I'll tell you more about that when the time comes." Carter helped me out before getting back to his job.

The killers were all handcuffed and were ready to leave the cafeteria. Each guard took them out like normal. I followed behind, making sure everyone was calm.

Once we made it to their cells, I could see the psychiatrists waiting for them. Not a single patient looked happy to see them. In fact, they looked the opposite. I watched as their once calm faces turned into disgust.

"Y/N, how about you come in with me today." The familiar voice caught my attention.

"Dr. Loomis? You're Michael's psychiatrist?" I walked over to him. Michael walked past me into his cell. It was more like he was pushed past me into his cell.

"I am. Come in with me for this session. I think you could help make a difference."

I only nodded, nervous about it. I'm not even a nurse yet, and I'm supposed to sit in on a therapy session with a serial killer who tried to kill me? Man, this job is overwhelming and quite frankly not very safe.

I walked into Michael's cell beside Dr. Loomis. The table that's normally in the corner was moved to the middle of the room. The guards handcuffed Michael to the table once more before leaving the room. I frowned slightly at his hands. They must be sore from always being restrained. I can understand why he's always restrained, though.

"We used to have a separate room for this... but there was an incident." Dr. Loomis spoke while he pulled up two chairs across from Michael.

"What happened?" My question made him stop moving completely. He didn't even look at me when he stayed to talk.

"Michael killed a nurse with a fork. We work in the cells now." My eyes widened in shock as the doctor sat down calmly in the chair as if he didn't just say the most shocking thing I've heard today. I'm supposed to be his nurse? What does Dr. Loomis see in me that makes him think I'm qualified for this?

"Come sit down, I want you to ask him some questions." He finally looked back at me, holding an arm out to guide me into the chair right beside him.

I could hear my heart beating in my ears as I sat down in the very cheap chair. Once settled in the chair, I noticed Michael watching me. So did Dr. Loomis.

"Do you like her as your new nurse, Michael?" He asked to which there was no response.

"This is always how our sessions go. He never answers. I think you can get him too." Loomis turned his attention to me.

"Do your wrists hurt?" My voice was soft as I spoke. I made eye contact with the killer. His eyes were black as night even though they were obviously light blue. Something about them just gave me the wrong feeling.

That's when I reached out. I made sure to move slowly so I didn't worry the killer, and I placed my hands lightly on his so I could see his wrists.
