Vegas? I haven't heard much about it but I do know that one of my previous foster parents used to bore me with stories about how they got married in a little white chapel with some guy called Elvis as the priest and how magnificent it was. Guess it doesn't matter though, I'm finally going to see what it's like for myself!

Jack said we had to go with Connor and Rosa on business. Something about meeting up with another pack. Rosa promised to go shopping with me so I could buy some clothes because funnily enough, I had none and didn't plan on borrowing Rosas outfits forever now.

"Are you sure it's not too soon? If it is just say the word and we'll stay here." Jack told me.

"I know it's soon but honestly I don't mind. To be honest with you, I think this is the most excited I have ever been in my life! I can't wait to go somewhere different, I know I'll like it." I told him with a smile as I watched him pack his case.

We were going for 5 days so he didn't pack too much in his case. "Are you packing anything?" He asked me.

"Like what? My clothes and self esteem? Nah, I'm going shopping with Rosa when I get there to get some things" I told him.

We made our way downstairs and met with Rosa and Connor by the front door. The pack wished us a safe journey and we made our way to the SUV on the drive.

"Man, I am so excited right now! We have to go and visit all the casinos, the clubs, the bars, everything!" Jack exclaimed.

"And don't forget we have to go on the roller coasters on the skyscraper! Oh my god lets get on the road before I turn into my wolf and start chewing things up!" Connor said back excitedly.

"God, I thought we were supposed to be the ones who were jumping around squeezing like girly girls?" Rosa said. I laughed in return.

4 Hours later...

Connor and Jack were sitting in the front of the SUV and me and Rosa were sitting in the back talking. It felt like we'd been driving for years, almost as long as I'd been locked in the basement. I shivered at the thought. I turned to my right and saw Rosa asleep with her head on the window. I thought I'd do the same, I could at least try and pass the time.

"Hey baby wake up, we're here." I heard as I felt someone rub there hand on my thigh. I opened my eyes and saw Jack leaning around the back of the passengers seat. We were still driving but I was amazed at what I saw.

"Oh my god. The Bennett's weren't kidding when they said it was beautiful here." I said as we drove past a sign welcoming us into Las Vegas. Every hotel was lit up and there were water fountains putting on spectacular shows. We passed big statues and numerous white chapels. I wonder which one they got married in?

Soon we arrived at our hotel, it looked like the biggest hotel we'd passed. I got out and held Jacks hand as we walked into the hotel reception and up to the receptionists desk.

"Hi, were booked in under the name of Saunders? For the penthouse." Connor told the receptionist. She typed on the computer before looking at us with a smile and handing us 2 key cards.

"Here you go, in your room there should be a complimentary bottle of champagne and 4 VIP passes to the clubs, bars and casinos the hotel has to offer. Here is the number for room service and here is your elevator key. Wifi is on the desk in the lounge area. If you make your way over there then Stan will show you the way. Have a nice trip!" She finished before turning to the next guests waiting to check in.

"Hello, I'm Stan, I'll take your bags. Right this way please." He told us before leading the way to the elevator, "your elevator key please." He asked before unlocking a floor allowing us to get off at a wide hallway with fancy furniture along the wall. We got to a door and he swiped the key card opening the door. I stood In awe at what I could see.

Stan left and in was lost for words. Everything was so big! We walked into a lounge area with a fireplace and a huge tv, off to the side was a bar and a grand piano. Next to it was an open plan kitchen which lead to a small cinema room. Either side of the room was a spiralled staircase leading to a second floor. We walked upstairs and there were two hallways, both were identical and lead to bedrooms with walk in wardrobes and ensure bathrooms.

"You take left and we take right?" Connor Said and we agreed.

We settled into our huge room and started to unpack our clothes. I put one of Rosas set of pyjama shorts and long T-shirt and went downstairs to meet the others in the lounge room. We all gathered on the couch and watched a film.

"Want some?" Rosa asked as she held out a glass of white wine.

"Ummmm, I've never... Oh sure, why not?!" I said. Everyone laughed and watched me as I took my first sip. I liked it, jack thought I looked classy and it was enough to give me butterflies.

I could get used to this Vegas.
