Shopping!

Maddies P.O.V.

I woke up before Jack. I stretched out and looked around the room in awe. To think that not a few days ago I was lying, cold and hungry in a basement of a house with a crazy and abusive woman and now I'm in Vegas of all place lying next to a man who I love. 

Funny word isn't it, Love. If I'm honest, I didn't think I'd ever know what love felt like. Now I know. Its an amazing feeling. Its like a jigsaw, without love you feel like theres a piece missing but when you feel love you find that missing piece. You feel whole, care free. Every time I look at him I get butterflies and feel warm all over. His smile can change my mood from sad to the happiest person in the world. I know that if I ever lost him I would search every inch of this earth one thousand times and I wouldn't sleep or eat until I had him by my side again. 

I rolled over to the nightstand and picked up a remote. I couldn't see the TV anywhere but I just assumed that it would pop up out of nowhere and then I could watch some TV without waking Jack up. How wrong was I? I clicked the button and all the curtains around the room opened up letting a stupid amount of light into the room. 

"Shit! No stop, ugh" I cursed under my breath as I fumbled with the remote trying but failing miserably to close the blinds.

"You know, a good morning kiss would have woken me up all the same, you didn't have to invite the sun into bed with us." Jack smirked as he wiped his eyes.

"Sorry, I thought it was the TV remote, I didn't mean to umm... invite the sun into bed with us." I realised half way through the sentence that he was only wearing his boxers. Wow.

"Yeah, I would rather it was just you and me in this bed" he said in his husky morning voice. I could feel myself getting hotter so I got out the bed and walked over to the window.

The view was beautiful. Vegas was known for its nightlife but in the day it looks pretty awesome too. I put my hand against the full length window that reached around the entire room from floor to ceiling and admired its beauty. I heard Jacks footsteps behind me before a pair of arms reached around my waist and his chin leaned against me shoulder.

"This is the most beautiful view to wake up to, I had to come and see it" he said.

"I know, look at how small the rest of the world looks from here, isn't it beautiful" i said back, fascinated by the beauty.

"I was talking about you in my T-shirt but Vegas is good too" he said and I could hear the smile in his voice. I blushed as I remembered spilling wine on my pyjama set and having to change it to his shirt the night before.

He turned me around softly so I was pressed against him and so that the cool window was pressed against my bare thighs. "The things I would do to you right now" he said as he bit his lip and his eyes darkened with lust. A shiver went down my spine.

"Jack, maybe we should-" i tried but he interrupted me with a kiss. He kissed me roughly and as much as I liked it, I knew what would happen if we carried on. He ran one hand down my back to my thigh and grabbed a fistful of my hair as he kissed me. 

"Jack, come on baby, not now" I said as my knees went weak. I tried to pull away but I was stuck between the window and his half naked body. I pushed him back and saw his eyes were completely black. "Jack!" I shouted. I wasn't scared of him kissing me, I loved that but I was scared of his reaction. I'd never seen him like this.

I guess he saw the fear in my eyes as he pulled himself off me while his eyes snapped back into their normal colour. "Oh my God Maddie! I am so sorry, I- are you?" He stuttered.

"Jack I'm fine, I just got scared, your eyes. They were black, i just didn't know what was wrong" i said trying to calm him down. He looked so angry at himself, "Im sorry, maybe you should go shopping now, please" he said as he walked away to the bathroom.

Later that day.

I had already been to most of the shops but Rosa insisted there were more we had to go to. My arms were aching with the weight of the bags and we'd been to Hollister, Nike, Apple and other shops. 

"Have you heard of Victorias Secret?" Rosa asked me.

"No, what is it?" I asked.

"A shop" she said.

"Well then if its a shop, whats the secret?" I asked seriously.

She looked at me, "nothing".

"So theres no secret?" I asked.

She laughed at me and grabbed my arm and dragged me over to the shop. "I strongly recommend you buy your underwear here and you can buy some other things too like your comfortable clothes and bags." She said as she let me off into the shop.

After a while of browsing, My basket was full of clothes. "Hey Rosa! I know their secret! They sell really pretty clothes!" i shouted across the store and she laughed.

on my way over to Rosa, she handed me a box. "What is it?" I asked.

"Dont open it until tonight, I mean it!" she said glaring at me.

"Thank you! But seriously what is it?" I asked and she just smiled at me as she walked away with me following behind.

After lunch we headed back to the hotel to meet the guys. I think we're going out tonight, lets see what happens. I hope it isn't awkward with Jack, I haven't spoken to him since this morning incident.
