New friends meet New enemies

Maddies P.O.V

I open my eyes but squint almost instantly as the light floods in through the windows of the hotel room and blinds me. I forget how I got here but then quickly remember what happened last night. it's hard to forget that amount of pain or the sound of your own bones breaking or even the feeling of being suffocated by your own screams.

I get up and walk over to the bathroom. My body feels fine, if anything I feel fantastic. I shower and make my way to the sink. I brush my hair and dry it with the hairdryer on the wall. Then, I brush my teeth. I thought they'd have felt sore or wobbly after last night but they felt completely normal. I put my head down and spit out the toothpaste and rinse my mouth out. As I lift my head up I see something that scares the life out of me. She is standing in the reflection of the mirror.

"Hello bitch" she says.

I turn around quickly with my heart beating out my chest to see that theres no one there. What the fuck? I swear she was just there.

I walk out the bathroom shaking and go out into the living room. "Jack! Jack?" I shout but theres no one there.

"Mad, how are you feeling? I heard you shower so I got you coffee- God you look awful" Rosa says as she comes out the kitchen holding a mug.

"Oh, I'm fine. Really. Mmm smells good" I said changing the subject. The longer I could hold off telling everyone about what I saw the better, I didn't want them to worry.

She handed me the coffee and we both sat down, "Jack had to go do some business with Connor but they'll be back soon. In the meantime, I have invited one my friend Cecilia round so we can have a girly day? She can do pedicures and I think we deserve the relaxation!" she laughed. I nodded in return. It would be nice to have a break from everything thats happened over the past few days.

We sat down and talked for an hour before deciding to build a giant fort. Can't have a lazy day without having a kingdom of cushions and duvets! We danced around and laughed like idiots when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" Rosa said as she jogged over to the door. She opened the door and there stood a girl with Brown wavy hair holding a case I presume is full of make-up.

"Cecilia! Its so great to see you!" Rosa said hugging the girl.

"You too! Hey, you must be Maddie! I've heard so many great things about you" she said coming over to me and giving me a hug.

"Cecilia its great to see you too!" I responded.

"Oh please call me Celia" she said.

"Ladies, is this a fort I see?" she asks.

We laugh and before we know it we are sitting in a fort with pretty nails and glasses of wine laughing our heads off at old stories. I felt like even though I'd only just met Celia, we'd been friends for years.

The door opened and in walked the guys. Jack came over and instantly gave me a hug and Connor did the same to Rosa. We finished off with the movie we were watching and all went to bed.

"How are you? I didn't want to ask infront of the others incase_" Jack started.

"I am fine. Infact, I feel great, better than ever! Butttt I do feel tired and right now and lying in your arms is making me extremely cosy so can I please sleep?" I cut him off.

"HA! Was building forts tiring?" he laughs.

"Mhmm" I mumble.

I listen to his heartbeat before I feel my eyes drift closed slowly.

I stood in the middle of the the hotel lobby. Everyone around me was staring at me and standing there like mannequins.

"I've always known you were a filthy little mongrel! Look at you! You think your parents would be proud of you now you are a Fucking monster!" She screamed at me. I couldn't move, it was like I was stuck in place.

"This isn't happening! This isn't real! You aren't real!" I said over and over to myself.

"Pinch yourself, you might be dreaming Maddie" she said before punching me hard in the stomach causing me to double over.

"You cant get rid of me bitch. I'm always here" she said before punching me so hard, I woke up.

I was breathless. I looked over to my right and Jack was still asleep. I decided to cuddle up to him. He stirred a little but put his arm around me and pulled me closer. I wont tell any of them about my visions of Mrs Greenwood.

The next day, we decided to start packing to go home. We wanted to go home earlier seeing as some things happened in Vegas which we wanted to stay in Vegas for as long as possible. There'd been no leads on Logan but Connor, Jack and Matt thought it would be wise to go home seeing as Logan could pop up at any time.

We were driving for hours before we got home. When we got back we were greeted by the pack. Even though Jack didn't tell me much about my wolf, I felt a pull towards my pack. I knew in my heart that they were my real family.

Celia decided to stay with us. She didn't have a family and she didn't have a mate. All she had was a no-good job and a crappy apartment that was three months behind on rent. Connor offered her a place in our pack because she was a wolf but the reason she lived alone was because she was a part of our pack but her parents were like mine, killed in a rogue attack and she needed time to herself for a while.

When we got into the house, myself and Rosa decided to show Celia to her room. After that, we went out for dinner, just the three of us. We visited a small diner outside our boundaries for a breakfast like dinner. I got up to use the bathroom before we left and Rosa followed, leaving Celia at the table.

"How've you been since your shift? I know I haven't really spoken to you about it since" Rosa asked drying her hands

"I'm fine, been really good. I feel like a new person" I said, purposely missing out the part about my terrifying visions.

"Hey, Celia is sitting with some guy. Get it girl!" Rosa said.

"No way let me see! Oh my god" I pale at the sight before me. Celia is sitting with Logan. Litte does she know he tried to kill me the other night.

"Rosa, thats Logan. The guy who bit me". Rosa looked shocked but as soon as she realised that this guy was dangerous she turned into Luna Rosa and marched out to the table. I followed her back trying to stop her from doing anything stupid.

"Celia remove yourself, we're leaving" Rosa said.

"Oh, Girls, This is-" Celia tried to introduce us but he needn't an introduction.

"NOW Celia. I'll explain later but for now grab your things we're leaving" Rosa Ordered.

Immediately Celia grabbed her things and got up to leave. Logan just sat there with a smirk on his face, "Goodnight Love".
