Chapter 25: Vows of love

The omega that was supposed to be the target was not touched at all, as if there was never any plan to do it in the first place. The money paid by the alpha was returned to his account and Vand... Oh, my poor Vand, paid the equal amount returned.

However, there was no regret in his eyes. He gladly did it, saying that he became furious hearing about bullshit thoughts for any omega, as the person he loved was also an omega.

After that mission, nothing was given to me again.

Time flew by, and the day of the wedding came. To ensure safety, only a few close friends were invited, including families and business partners. The island where we held the wedding was so full of men in black that there was no way any intruders could disturb us.

"Caesium! You look stunning in your dress." My only best friend, Novy, was supposed to be my best man. However, Yvon would not agree that Zlato would be Novy's partner, so the wedding had no best man at all.

Caesium, "Oh, I specially designed it. Look at my waist, is it highlighted???" ♡⸜(ˆᗜˆ˵ )⸝♡

Novy, "You did?! You have to design my clothes too!" ૮₍ ˃ ⤙ ˂ ₎ა

Caesium, "Of course! I will listen to what you want. Leave it to me." (˘ ˘ ˘)

Novy, "Yay! Oh, your waist is freaking awesome by the way." (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

Caesium, "I know, right?"

We were happily giggling while Yvon was sitting in the far corner, looking at his genuinely happy omega. I can tell through his eyes that he sincerely loves Novy, and I am hoping that they will get married soon too and have litters of cubs!

"Young master, it's time."

The design of the wedding was not grand; it was kept simple with a glass path across the pool, and the sides were full of flowers, which coincided with the gold and silver motif of the wedding. Upon leaving the glass path, there was a gold carpet laid on the sand, to which I walked towards the center, where Vand was waiting for me.

The center is perfectly designed; it feels like I am a fairy surrounded by butterflies and flowers. It was so amazing, my eyes teared up.

"We will now start the ceremony; please all rise as we welcome Mr. Caesium Mon Wenfri," Hydro became our officiator, and when his words stopped, the door suddenly opened and the bright lights blinded me. People were clapping, but I could only hear it faintly.

My eyes focused on Vand and my heart started to beat faster. It was abnormal, but I knew it was because I was happy with everything. As I walked, I could feel my tears rolling down my cheeks, but my lips were smiling. I don't even know how I look anymore.

It was a short distance, but it seems so long that I wanted to run and go to Vands side, making our vows and sealing our love. But, of course, I can't. I have to leave some face, so I won't be teased after this event.

"Wooo! Caesium is crying!" That was Silver. I know that voice, and I know that he will cry more than me when he gets married.

"Have babies after this!" Novy had to join the fun, but it was okay; I know they were trying to cheer me up. I might look like a funny weasel right now. A few more steps, and I can be by Vands side.

The touch of Vands hand on my waist woke me up from being dazed while tearing up. He held me and kissed me on the forehead, which made the audience boo us in a friendly way. There was no instruction to kiss yet, but Vand kissed me in advance. <(￣︶￣)>

Hydro had to interrupt us, and so we stood in front, facing Hydro, as he started his words. "In our family, there is one treasure that we valued the most, one rare gem we won't trade for anything else, one beautiful brother that will always be a baby in our hearts."

With Hydro's words, I started to tear up again, though I'm not really sure if these words should be said by the officiator! Forget it; let him be.

"When our mother died, we vowed to always love our brother, be his mother and brother at the same time, and to provide everything he needed all his life. Vand Mar Lunlin, are you willing to take on this responsibility as our brother's alpha?"

Vand looked at Hydro and turned his head to face Silver and my father. He then held my hand and kissed it, "I, Vand Mar Lunlin, will forever hold Caesium Mon Wenfri in my heart as the most valuable treasure, a rare gem, a beautiful partner, and to always be his protector, his provider, his lover, and his partner. In this life and if there's more other life, I will be his."

Even if Vand does not say it, I know that he will do it. But then again, hearing it was more than satisfying, and it melted my heart. I think I can die now, right at this moment.

"Caesium, it's your turn to say your vow." I immediately turn my head to Hydro. There were no long words for Vand? Why?! It's unfair. Humph!

I composed myself, took a deep breath, and said, "I love you, Vand Mar Lunlin." The crowd went silent, waiting for anything I might add, and after a few seconds, Hydro whispered, "That's all?"

I nodded my head for confirmation. Words of vow? It's all in those three words. I love the alpha in front of me; I don't need to say more. Vand then chuckled and pulled me for a kiss, a deep kiss full of love and adoration. "It's enough. My darling's words are enough." He kissed me again, and the crowd cheered for us.

When the photoshoot was done, everyone moved to the reception area to eat while Vand snatched me away. He was like a fox that snatched a bunny while the owner was looking.

"Can't wait for tonight?" I said, teasing him and poking his cheeks.

"Nope, my darling is so sexy, I can't wait anymore." I was lifted like a princess while we moved towards the room prepared for us. With Vands face, I can guarantee that I won't be leaving the room until tomorrow.
