The past 2 week was so busy I didn't have time to write but here is another chapter

The streets were busy with the hustle and bustle of people rushing to their destinations. The sound of car horns and chatter filled the air, creating a noisy atmosphere. Pedestrians hurriedly weaved through the crowded sidewalks, their footsteps blending with the constant hum of city life. The vibrant energy of the streets was palpable as if each passerby had a unique story to tell amidst the urban chaos.

I rushed to buy a coffee from a nearby café before my job interview, hoping that caffeine would help calm my nerves.

As I stood in line, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, enticing my senses. The baristas behind the counter moved with practiced efficiency, expertly crafting each order. I watched in awe as they skillfully steamed milk and poured espresso, their movements almost like a dance. Finally, it was my turn to place my order, and I quickly requested a strong, black coffee to give me the boost I needed for the upcoming interview.

With a fresh cup of coffee in hand, I left the cafe and headed towards the building where her job interview was taking place. As I walked, I couldn't help but feel a wave of anxiety wash over her. This job interview was crucial, and she couldn't afford to mess it up. The thought of providing for Matthew and building a brighter future for them both filled her with determination, but the pressure and stress of the moment were overwhelming.

Amid my nerves and anxiety, I was completely unaware of the people around me. As I made my way to the building where my job interview was taking place, I felt my pulse racing and my thoughts scattered. Without looking where I was going, I bumped into someone instantly. The cup of coffee in my hand spilled all over their pants. At that moment, all my thoughts and feelings came to a head, and I felt my face flush with embarrassment.

The person I had bumped into stood there, completely stunned, as they were now covered in coffee. In an instant, I felt all my worries and fears turn to sheer embarrassment, and I started apologizing profusely. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't see where I was going. Are you okay?" I said to the confused individual, my face still flushed with embarrassment.

When I looked up, I was met by the sight of a tall, handsome man with long, flowing, pale blue hair and strikingly light purple eyes. The small mole under the corner of his mouth added a unique charm to his already alluring gaze, and I felt my heart flutter in my chest as I took him in. Despite the coffee stain on his pants, he carried himself with style and confidence, his presence alone drawing me in, melting away my nervousness, and leaving me mesmerized by his effortless charisma.

"You should look where you are going, little miss," he says sternly, his voice sending shivers down my spine. I quickly avert my gaze, feeling a flush of embarrassment rise to my cheeks.

"I'm so sorry," I stammer, my words barely audible.

"No harm done," he reassures, his voice now gentle and soothing.

"That's a very expensive suit. I should help you clean up," I continue, gesturing towards the coffee stain on his perfectly tailored suit. I frantically search my bag for a tissue, my hands trembling with nerves. I finally find one and begin to dab at the stain.

"I appreciate the offer," he acknowledges, his voice laced with gratitude. "But I wouldn't want to trouble you any further; I have to go." He walked away from me, leaving me standing there with a tissue in hand and a mixture of relief and disappointment washing over me.

Checking on my watch, I realized I only had 5 minutes. Hurry and fix myself up before running to my job interview location. As I sprinted towards the interview, my mind raced with thoughts of what could have been if he had stayed a little longer. I knew I had to focus on the task at hand and give my best shot at securing the job.
