Y/n day off
My son Matthew woke up early this morning, excited about our trip to the amusement park together. I woke up after and took a long, refreshing shower, ready to spend some quality time with my little guy. I dressed in a comfortable outfit, leaving plenty of time to get ready before we had to leave. Matthew came into my room, looking adorable in his favorite T-shirt and jeans, his hair sticking up in every direction. "Good morning, Mama!" he greeted me with a big smile. "Are you ready for our trip?"
"Of course I am, Matthew," I replied with a smile. "I'm so excited to spend the day with you!" He nodded; his excitement was palpable.
"Me, too, Mama!" he said, his voice filled with joy.
"Now, go put your shoes on, and let's go downstairs," I said to Matthew. He chased my instructions, eager to get going. I followed Matthew downstairs, his tiny footsteps running ahead of mine. He was so full of energy and joy that it was infectious.
As we walked down the stairs, he grabbed my hand to guide me. "Mama, hurry!" he said as he pulled me along. I smiled and chuckled as I hurried to keep up with him.
"I'll try to keep up, but go easy on me, Matthew," I said with a laugh. He looked up at me, his expression serious.
"I will take care of you, Mama," he said, his tone protective.
"Oh, you're so sweet," I replied, feeling a rush of tenderness toward my little guy.
"Have fun, you two." Jean waved at us from the bottom of the stairs, her eyes filled with affection.
Matthew's face lit up even more at the sight of his aunt, and he let go of my hand to run towards her, shouting, "Aunty Jean, look how fast I can go!"
Jean chuckled and opened her arms wide, ready to catch Matthew in a loving embrace. As he reached her, she scooped him up and spun him around, laughter filling the air.
I couldn't help but smile at the sight of their joyful reunion. Jean had always been a pillar of support in our lives, and I was grateful for the strong bond she shared with Matthew. Watching them together reminded me of the importance of family and the love that surrounded us.
I followed Matthew to the door and bent down to tie his shoes for him. "Are you excited about going to the amusement park?" I asked him, looking up at his cute face. He nodded, his expression filled with anticipation.
"Yeah, Mama!" he said, his voice full of excitement.
"What are you looking forward to the most?" I asked, feeling curious about his interests.
"I love going on rollercoasters," he replied, his expression brightening even more. "They're so much fun! Do you want to go on a rollercoaster, Mama?"
I smiled at the thought of going on the roller coasters with Matthew. It had been a while since I had been to an amusement park myself. "Yes, darling, I'd love to go on the roller coasters with you!" I replied excitedly.
"Yay! Roller coasters are so fun!" Matthew replied with a big smile, clasping my hand.
"Okay, let's go outside and get in the taxi," I said, heading toward the door. Matthew jumped up and down in excitement as he followed me to the car, his little feet tapping rapidly on the ground.
