Harry looked out of the window, cooking dinner for himself, and his six children. "dad." Scorpius came running in. "yeah?" Harry asked. "are we having a guest?" he asked. "no, why do you ask?" Harry asked. "because you put eight plates on the table." Scorpius said. "shit can you remove it?" Harry asked. "what's wrong dad?" Scorpius asked. "nothing." Harry looked down at his wedding ring. "you never told us why you have that ring, only James know. but he won't tell." Scorpius said. "yeah, it's a secret." Harry replied. Scorpius nodded and walked off. Scorpius was the only child who looked exactly like Draco, the ice blue eyes, the smile, the features the hair. Fourteen years it had been, nothing heard from him. "papa." James his voice sounded and he hugged his father. James was the only one who remembered Draco, because he was seven when Draco left. "I need to tell you something." James said. "yeah?" Harry asked. "me and my girlfriend are having a baby." James said. that was the point where Harry broke. "papa I didn't mean to make you cry." James said. "no it's alright, I'm happy for you. I'm gonna be a granddad." Harry smiled through his tears. "you're still upset about dad aren't you?" James asked. "he's gone, for fourteen years now." Harry said. "he'll be back, I promise." James said. "he left me to go to France 'only a business trip'. I don't understand." Harry said. "papa, mark my words, I promise on my life that if dad doesn't come back, I'll marry you, to make you happy." James said. "you're such a nice boy, you're gonna be a great dad." Harry said. "do you think dad found someone else?" James asked. "I think so, he's just not able to marry them." Harry showed the ring around his finger. James smiled. "I know you have a hard time taking care for us all, but I'll leave the house tomorrow, but I can always help out, like always did." James said. "I know that." Harry said and put the food on the table. "papa, who's this?" Lily asked and she gestured to a blonde man, for a split second Harry hoped it was his husband, but no it was his father-in-law. "hello." Harry said. "nice to see my grandchildren all well fed up and looking great." He said. Harry nodded. "so where's my son?" he asked. "I don't know, he's been gone for fourteen years." Harry replied. "you never got worried?" Lucius asked. "no, he texted me a few years ago that I shouldn't worry, so I didn't." Harry said. James raised an eyebrow. He nodded. "how don't you know where he is?" Harry asked. "don't pretty much cared, but I need him." Lucius said. "okay, he isn't here, he should be in France." Harry replied. "okay." Lucius walked away. "dad." Scorpius said. "guys that was Lucius Malfoy your grandfather." Harry said. "but they're dead?" Albus said. "yeah, my parents are dead, but I had a partner." Harry replied. "who?" Sirius asked. "Draco." Harry replied. "why isn't he here?" Remus asked. "because he left for a business trip fourteen years ago." Harry said. "why did you never tell us?" Lily asked. "because you were all really young, between the ages of newborn and three, except for James, he was ten and James knew and promised me to help me, I never told you because I didn't want you to know about the sadness, you always believed I was a single dad." Harry said. "okay dad, it's okay." Remus said. "thanks." Harry said and sat down. "enjoy your meal."
"must you go to bed, just five minutes." Harry said. "papa, I know you love me, but I need sleep." James said. "okay, goodnight." Harry said and hugged him. James smiled and walked upstairs. Harry sighed and turned off the tv and decided it was time for a late-night snack. He walked towards the kitchen and there he stood the man of his dreams. "hi, Harry." Draco said. Harry didn't reply he just stared at him. "I'm sorry." Draco said. "what happened?" Harry asked. "I never wanted to leave, I never did. I am a former death eater and in France they didn't know about what happened, that I married you and even though I tried to tell them they never believed me. So I started thinking how I could prove it and eventually I did after fourteen years, and I returned home immediate." Draco said. Harry hugged him, so tightly he actually heard Draco gasp for air. "you texted me that I shouldn't worry." Harry said. "I had to." Draco said. "okay." Harry said and let go of Draco. "so how are they?" Draco asked. "James is going to have a child, the others are doing good at school." Harry said. "oh that's good, are they in bed?" Draco asked. "yeah all fast asleep I think." Harry said. "why is there a child behind you?" Draco asked. "Scorpius, why are you awake?" Harry turned around. "I couldn't sleep." Scorpius said. "okay you have school tomorrow you should get some sleep, you can go to the couch, I'll be right there." Harry said. Scorpius walked away. "so he looks so much like me." Draco said. Harry nodded and sat down at the stool. "so what happens now?" Draco asked. "we're still married, and I still love you and those children are still yours and we both paid for this house so it makes sense that we do like we did." Harry said. Draco got a smile on his face. Draco nodded and hugged Harry. "so Scorpius and Albus are twins right?" Draco asked. "and Sirius and Remus, then James is the oldest, then Lily who is the youngest." Draco nodded. "so I'm going to the living room and ask what's wrong." Harry said and stood up. "can I come with you?" Draco asked. "it's your house." Harry said and they both walked towards the living room. "hey Scorp what's wrong?" Harry asked. "I had it again." Scorpius said. Harry nodded and sat down. "do you want to tell me what it was like?" Harry asked. "who's he?" Scorpius looked at Draco. "that's your father." Harry said. "is he like me?" Scorpius asked. "he isn't." Harry said. "what is it about?" Draco asked. "sometimes I get really dizzy and confused and my eyes go completely white, sometimes black and then I start saying random things, it freaks out my siblings." Scorpius said. "I had that too when I was very young of age I was ten when it stopped, when did it start?" Draco asked. "when I was 13, I'm not able to go to a normal school and dad teaches me at home." Scorpius said. Draco nodded and sat down next to Scorpius. "there is nothing you can do against it, but no worries, I'm here." Draco said and hugged his son. Scorpius smiled. "I'm going to bed now." Scorpius said and walked upstairs. "I didn't know." Harry said. "nobody does." Draco said. Harry nodded and started cleaning the living room and kitchen while Draco was just present like it was, like it always had been, and it would never change again.
that was the weekend again, yay school.
