"Potter." The head Auror walked into Harry's office. He looked up. "you're on the case." He said. "what case?" Harry asked. "murder." He replied. Harry nodded and stood up. "crime scene hasn't been investigated yet so that's your job." And with that he disappeared. Harry took the Portkey to the crime scene. he stood in the big living room he had been all those years ago. There was a body under a white cloth. Nothing looked like it had before. "Potter?" Draco's voice sounded. He was in tears and it made Harry's heart shatter. "hello." Harry said and looked at his team. "I'll take the witness for questions you investigate here." Harry said and took Draco towards the dining area. "what did you see?" Harry asked. "I woke up this morning and I heard some noises from downstairs, it was shouting." Draco replied. "who did you hear?" Harry asked. "my mother." He replied. "to who was she shouting?" Harry asked. Draco shrugged. "I think someone who works with her, I don't know." Draco replied. The tears were still streaming from his face. "was it a boy or a girl?" Harry asked. "it was a man, I think it was my father, I know it's not possible. But it sounded so much like him." Draco said. Harry nodded and wrote it down. "where's your son?" Harry asked. "upstairs in his bed, he usually sleeps until eleven." Draco replied. "then he'll soon wake up, do you have anywhere else to go?" Harry asked. "I don't, I don't have family, neither do I have friends, my wife's dead. why does everyone has to die around me?" Draco asked. Harry put his hand on Draco's shoulder. "you know, I asked myself that question once too." Harry said. "but you're the chosen one, everybody cares about you when something bads happens to you, and nobody does for me." Draco said. "Draco, we're not on those terms anymore, sure people despise you for being past you, but I don't. I've seen you as a dad around Scorpius and you're a good person." Harry said. Draco got a little smile on his face. Scorpius entered the kitchen. "why can't I go into the living room?" he asked not looking up from his muggle device probably texting Albus. "oh hi Mr. Potter. Is Albus here too?" Scorpius asked. "no." Harry replied and stood up. "come sit down Scorpius I need to tell you something." Draco said and Harry left the room.
"the other people should leave the crime scene right now." An auror informed Harry. "I'm on that." Harry walked back towards the dining room. "hey I know you're probably sad right now and stuff, but you should leave. This house is a crime scene and everything that you touch may be a waste of evidence." Harry said. "sure." Draco stood up. "where are we going?" Albus asked. "I don't know yet." Draco said. "you can stay over at ours, Scorpius was coming tomorrow anyways." Harry said. "that's generous of you Potter." Draco said. "call me Harry." Draco nodded. "you know my floo address." Harry said. "I sure do." Draco walked with Scorpius out of the house.
"Albus that's so unfair, you play this game with Scorpius all the time of course that I can't win!" James shouted. "you're just a bad loser." Albus said. James snorted. Albus heard footsteps on the hallway so he put his controller away. "Lily was with mum right?" Albus asked. "she sure was, they were going to Sephora." James said. Albus opened the door and found his best friend. "Scorp, I thought you were coming tomorrow." Albus said and hugged Scorpius. "my grandma was killed, and your dad offered us to stay here since our house is now a crime scene." Scorpius said. "oh hello Mr. Malfoy." Albus said. "what were you doing in here?" He asked. "we were playing a game, Mario cart. James is a bad loser." Albus said. Draco chuckled. "can I join?" Scorpius asked. "sure." James said. "where's your little redhead thing?" Draco asked. "you mean our sister?" James asked. "that." Draco said. "with our mother, shopping in the city for make-up so boring." Albus said. Draco chuckled and sat with the boys on the couch. "so James.. was it?" Draco asked. "yup." James said. "I heard your father telling me you did your first year in university?" Draco asked. "I did, study potions." He said. "quite the opposite of your father then." Draco said. James nodded. "of course I'm happy you and Scorpius have both been accepted for magical creatures." Draco said. "thanks dad." Scorpius said. "aren't you sad your mum died?" James asked. "I probably should, but I cried an hour and now I don't feel anything, I wasn't really close with her, I hardly saw her in my childhood, and of course during my times serving that man I've only seen her mad and now after everything we just didn't get along that much." Draco said. "and you Scorp?" Albus asked. "I didn't really know her that well." Scorpius said. "he was too busy texting you Al, instead of getting to know his grandma." James teased. "shut up." Albus said. "so your parents are divorced right?" Draco asked. "yeah but don't talk about it when dad's near, tells us it's because their love died, everybody knows it's because he fancies boys." James said. "he's bisexual." Draco said. "how do you know?" Albus asked. "he told his friends, while I was eavesdropping in school. In third year he was dating Cedric, up until fourth, in fifth he dated Cho and from sixth year he dated your mom, until I don't know 2 year ago?" Draco asked. "you know his love life good." Scorpius said. Draco rolled his eyes.
