"Okay. Mitch is going to be over soon," Scott said as He quietly closed the door to their daughter's bedroom, careful not to wake her up.

"Good that means we have some time to ourselves. Alone."

"Alex, Baby you know I love you but what if Mitch saw us. He's supposed to babysit, Elie tonight Remember?" He said lacing his fingers with his husbands.

"Okay. I guess your right. We can save that for after," Alex said smirking.

Just before their lips could touch, the door bell rang.

Scott opened the door, revealing a well dressed, Mitch. He looked up at him. His eyes sparkling and his lips formed into a smile. "Mitchy! I missed you so much, you have no idea!" Scott said bringing him close to him and wrapping his arms around his small figure.

"Oh, believe me Scott. I do." He rested his head on Scott's chest and his arms fit perfectly around his waist.

"You see. I missed this." Mitch nodded. "Ya but not as much as I missed you though. Your my best friend, Scott."

He was right. Scott is Mitch's best friend. But his heart belonged to somebody else. Alex. Yes Scott felt heartbroken when he had to move out with Mitch. But Alex is his husband. He loves Mitch.
But... not in that way.

"Oh! Mitch! I didn't see you there. Hi!" Said Alex walking over to Mitch and Scott. The two noticed we were still hugging and pulled away awkwardly.

Alex pulled Scott by my hip to be closer to him and they shared a short kiss.

"And the cutest couple award goes to..." Mitch said smiling over at the couple. Scott and Alex giggled at Mitch's joke and headed out the door to their date.

"Alex, I'll meet you in the car." He nodded and Scott walked towards Mitch, in the house.

"Bye Mitchy. I love youuuu!" He Said picking him up and spinning him around. His arms wrapped around Scotts neck and the stared into each other's eyes.

Scott placed his feet back on the floor. His hand rested on Mitch's cheek and placed a small kiss on his forehead. He gave Scott a kiss on his nose in return.

"I don't want you to leave," Mitch pouted, looking up at his best friend with sad eyes. "Look. I'll be back later tonight. Elie will give you company. She loves you," He said with a smile.

"Okay now go enjoy your date. You have a beautiful man outside waiting for you," Said Mitch opening the door. Scott smiled in return and headed out the door.

Mitch's smile, quickly turned into a frown. He sighed and headed up the stairs to Elie's room.

He opened the door gently, trying not to wake the small child and walked beside the crib.

The little baby was smiling in its sleep, probably from a dream, causing the brunette to smile slightly. Mitch carefully picked up the baby girl and held her in his arms.

Her eyes flickered open and she cuddled close into Mitch's chest. He placed a delicate kiss on the baby's head and sat down in her rocking chair.

"Hello little, Elie," Whispered Mitch while caressing the baby's face. She looked exactly like Scott. Which made her even more beautiful to Mitch. Elie started to squirm a little in his arms and started to whine.

"Shhh, baby. Don't cry," Mitch said soothingly pulling the child into his chest while rocking her in his arms. But she only cried louder.

He rubbed her back in small circles to try to calm her down but that obviously did not work.
