Scott's POV*
"Who wants to watch a movie?" Asked Kirstie plopping herself on Mitch and I's couch. We had invited the whole band so we could all spend some time together. "I do," said Mitch in the kitchen. "Okay. You three pick out a movie while I check on Mitch," I said on my way to the kitchen.
I saw Mitch. He was making popcorn, lazily leaning on the counter while waiting for the popcorn.
I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed his shoulder. "Hello, Scott." I pulled away and turned his body to face me. "Hey Mitch." He gave me a little smile looking at his feet."I love you," I said tilting his chin up. The microwave beeped and I took the popcorn out.
"Ahh, shit! It's hot!" I yelled dropping the bag on the kitchen floor. He laughed loudly picking it up off the ground. "You overreact. It wasn't that hot." I shot him a look. "It was to me, Michelle." He just smiled and shook his head going to the living room.
"So what movie are we watching," I asked. "Well we thought we'd watch The Fault In Our Stars," said Kirstie putting the movie in. Man I am going to cry so hard.
Mitch's POV*
Okay. I will admit. I do have a slight crush on Scott. When he kissed me on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around me, I felt butterflies in my stomach. It's like you don't want to show them you like them, but you don't want them to think your keeping your distance for some reason. I'm just so awkward around him. I constantly stutter while talking to him, and I blush at every compliment I get from him. I can't help it. I'm in love with my best friend.
I was sitting on the couch by myself, since the others were trying to figure out how to start the movie. I wasn't even going to try.
I heard a knock on the door and opened it. There he was. Alex.
"Hey, Mitch," Alex said coldly. "Hi." We don't necessarily get along that well, but Scott doesn't know that. Nobody does. "Ummm... can you at least let me in so I can see my boyfriend?" I didn't even respond. I just moved out of the way and walked back into the kitchen.
Scott's POV*
I felt a pair of arms around my shoulders. I didn't recognize who it was so I turned around. It was Alex! "Oh my god, babe!" I haven't seen you in forever! I missed you so so so so so so so much!" I yelled hugging him tight. "Ya'll saw each other last night," said Mitch standing with the others. Was he okay? He sounded kind of annoyed. I shook it off though. I mean I was with my boyfriend and friends so I should focus on them.
While the movie started, Alex rested his head in my lap, and held Wyatt. I ran my hands in his hair. Kevin and Avi were sitting on the ground in front of the tv like little kids with Kirstie in between them. And there was Mitch. He sat awkwardly in a chair by himself.
"That's like you and me, Alex. We are like Hazel and Agustus." I said pulling him in for a kiss. "Yeah and Mitch is like that blind guy that's the friend," Replied Alex laughing. I laughed and looked over at Mitch. He looked so lonely. I feel sad when I see him alone. It's not like him to be so distant. It's weird to see him like that. It's not right.
"Hey, Mitchy? Can you come cuddle with us?" I said hoping for a yes. He shook his head no. "Well I kinda want to get some fresh air anyway. Thanks for the offer though," he said getting his jacket and phone.
He was about to open the door and walk out, but I stopped him. "Hey are you sure you don't want to stay and watch the rest of the movie? It's going to get dark outside and you'll worry me," I said caressing his smooth cheek. "I'm fine, Scotland." I hugged him tight, and he melted in my touch. I pulled away and kissed his forehead and he left.
Mitch's POV*
To be honest, I was really trying to get away for little while. I mean I feel uncomfortable around the two of them. Like when they kiss in front of me, it seems that I'm just there. I am single so I guess I just have to sit here and watch everyone be in a relationship. I want to have what Alex has. And that's Scott. Alex hates my guts and he is only nice to me around others. It's painful.
I walked out of the apartment, sighing in relief. I didn't bother to drive so I was just going to walk. I didn't know where I was going, but I just know that I was becoming farther and farther from my troubles.
I roamed the streets of LA, every now and then getting stopped by fans asking for a picture. I saw a park and decided to stop there. It was beautiful. I just walked the whole time enjoying the view.
"Excuse me?" I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Aren't you Mitch Grassi?" I turned around and smiled."Yes that's me," I said to a rather short probably about fourteen year old girl. She had long curly blonde hair and blue eyes. Like Scott. Mitch. stop thinking about him.
"Why do you look upset?" I gave her a sad smile. "Well it's a long story." "I've got time." I smiled. An actual smile. Not a fake one that I always use, but a real one. We walked around for a while and I told her the whole story.
"...And that's how I ended up here." She had a sad expression on her face as I spoke. "You know what you should just go back and be with your friends. They love you. Trust me, I know they do," said the girl. She had a point. "You know what. Your right. I can't just keep running away from my problems because they are only going to get worse the more I run away from them." I gave her a big hug and we exchanged phone numbers. "Wait I didn't even get your name!" I said worriedly. "The names Vivienne." I smiled at her name. I really liked it. "Now go back home and be happy!" "Okay I will. Thanks Vivienne." "Bye Mitch!"
Scott's POV*
It was getting dark outside. Where was he? Mitch left almost three hours ago and hasn't returned. I was worried for my best friend. I was alone. Kirstie, Avi, and Kevin left not too long ago so it was just Alex and I until Mitch returned. I can't stop thinking about Mitch.
"Hey babe. What's wrong?" Asked Alex hugging me and nuzzling his face into my neck. "I've just been thinking." "About what," he asked. "You." I lied.
We made out for a long time. Him on top of me and me under him. Then Mitch walked in. the second the door closed, I ended our kiss and ran to Mitch. I pulled him in my arms and kept kissing his head. "I thought you wouldn't be coming back," I said tilting his chin up to see his face. "Neither did I." Mitch rested his head on my chest and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Ahem." Mitch and I both pulled away, startled. " Sorry Alex, but we need you to leave. Like now," I said to my boyfriend. "Oh I see how it is." He left the apartment slamming the door.
"So how about we watch sponge bob, cuddle and eat ice cream?" I Asked and he nodded. After a while Mitch fell asleep in my arms. that's never happened before. But I liked it. A lot. "Goodnight Mitchy. Love you," I said. Then I finally kissed his soft pink lips, thinking he was asleep. But I was shocked when Mitch kissed back. "Goodnight Scotty. Love you too."
