Pinky swear and cross my eyes, let the truth ring,
Fact is, I hate you, like a bitter, twisted thing.
Curse you a million times, a vile hate symphony,
Every glance in the mirror just fuels my effigy.
I hate, I hate, I hate you, let it be clear,
Your reflection, my dear, fills me with fear.
I can't escape your image, it's always here,
I'd rather face a storm, a tempest severe.
I'm staring at that... uh, what's your name, again?
Wishing you'd disappear, and end this insane chain.
Why won't you vanish, set me free from the strain?
This war with you, my loathing, it's hard to restrain.
Each dawn I despise you, as from slumber I wake,
My hatred stares back, like a venomous snake.
Brushing my teeth or looking up, make no mistake,
Your presence's a curse, every morn when I partake.
Why won't you exit, let me be on my own?
I've tried to be civil, but my hatred's full-blown.
I'd rather take a dagger and be entirely overthrown,
Than to lock eyes with you, like a soulless drone.
A monster's what you are, my reflection's no friend,
Each look magnifies your flaws, there's no mend.
I can't be happy for you, that's my trend,
My life on the line, but from you, I'd transcend.
You grin like a clown, while insults you collect,
Thinking it's cool, but it's fake, that's the effect.
Everyone knows you're a sham, a reality check,
Don't act like you're wise; it's what I'd expect.
Face it, you're not special, that's the direct path,
Those forced smiles patch your broken, fragile craft.
This feeling hasn't changed since my very first laugh,
It circles back to the origin, an emotional gaffe.
No matter what you do, how polite or square,
Things remain the same, an unending, painful affair.
Quit pretending, it's fruitless, let's be fair,
I know you are me, and in this hate, we both share.
