3 months later, Ember's father had retired and instead of Ember taking over, he had found some residents who used to shop there. Outside the shop, Ember was smiling at the shop sign.
Ember opened the shop door and several fire residents welcomed her back.

Wade waved back to them, then he turned to Ember. "Ember," He said. "It's time,"
Ember felt happy that her internship was accepted, but deep down inside, she was sad to be leaving home and her parents. She looked at Wade then at her parents.
Then she left the shop with a huge grin on her face. Wade was coming with her.
