Chapter two

Wednesday's POV:
I have been back at nevermore for a week and still nothing. Enid keeps telling me not to worry, but i am. If they aren't giving me signs i can't catch them.  I look at the clock Enid put up, it's ten. Usually she's back by now. Enid is extremely smart and stupid at the same time, i don't know if i should worry or not. She told me she has a date with Ajax so i shouldn't interrupt, but i find myself dialing Enid's phone number.  "Wednesday?" Enid's voice speaks after few rings. "Hello, Enid. Just checking in, you're usually home by now." I say. "You worried about me Addams?" Enid asks cheerfully. "No, i am not." I reply. "Sure, i'll be back soon." She giggles. I hang up and put my phone on my desk. My head falls into my hands and i sigh.

Enid's POV:
I finish showering and changing. When i walk back into the dorm Wednesday is still at her desk. "You need to stop thinking about this." I sigh. "I need to figure this out."
"You have barely slept the whole week." I reply. "I don't need sleep, i need to find whoever this idiot stalker is." She says annoyed. "Let me help you then." I say after a pause.
"What?" Wednesday says confused. "I can try help you." I reply. "Enid last time i got you involved you almost died, i will act on this subject alone." Wednesday says. She's great but she's extremely stubborn when it comes to people helping her. Apparently she doesn't need help and it makes her weak to want help. "Come on, you're killing yourself trying to figure this out. I want to help." I say. "I'll take it under concideration" Wednesday groans.

Wednesday's POV:
Enid forced me to try and go to sleep. It's two in the morning and i'm still staring at the ceiling, i need leads, i need clues. I hear Enid mumble and move around, she's talking but i can't hear what she's saying. "Enid?" I say sitting up. She doesn't answer. I walk over to her bed and kneel beside her. "Enid?" I say a little louder.  I shake her and she inhales loudly and sits up. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Sorry, nightmare." She answers out of breath. I roll my eyes and begin standing up.
"Wait!" Enid says. I turn around letting her into my veiw. "Can you stay here?" She asks. "It's late, Enid." I reply. "I fall asleep fast, i'm just scared." She sighs. I place myself at her desk and move the chair beside her. "I can't fall asleep if you're staring at me like that." Enid giggles. "Fine." I mutter. I look away from her and re-arrange her desk, it's extremely unorganised - weird for her as she is usually organised but i won't question -  but i know she will appreciate it.

Time skip - the next day:

I wake up to Enid's giggles. "What time is it?" I question half asleep. Enid checks the time on her phone, "It's eight." She answers casually. I rapidly push myself out of bed, why am i so tired? I barely remember last night, i remember laying in the dark and waking Enid from a nightmare, i hadn't checked the time after two, though. "Woah, you glue rockets to your feet last night or something last night?" Enid says confused. "Class starts in an hour, Enid!" I reply irritated. "I'm sorry! I just know you haven't been sleeping welll and..." Enid begins before i cut her off, "Forget it." I say slamming the bathroom door behind me. Not even two weeks in and she's already become the reason i wish to jump off of a building.

I finish getting ready in time still aggitated with Enid, i know she cares, but she knows i don't care for her concern. "Walk to class with me?" Enid asks in a sad tone. I do feel a small amount of guilt for shouting at her, i guess i'm just tired. Enid is a lot to deal with, espically early in the morning when i've had limited sleep. "Fine." I say.
"How long are you gonna be mad at me?" Enid sighs following behind me out of the door. "I apoligise for shouting. I will be more conciderite of my tone." I say facing Enid. Why is she looking at me like that? She does this look a lot. "It's okay. I just worry about you, y'know? You barely sleep or... well anything." She says concerned. "I just need to figuire this out, alone." I say seriously, knowing she will offer to help. I wish i could form the words to express my appreciation, but i can't. "I want to help."  "I don't need it. Are you forgetting what happened last time?" I say irritated again. "I know but i want to! Please." I roll my eyes, "Fine, but don't forget i warned you." I sigh.
