Chapter five

Wednesday's POV:
I don't regret letting Enid help, she's so much smarter than i realised. She does have skill, which i doubted. It's mainly oranising, when it comes to her ideas i feel like she could have some good things stored in that colourful brain of hers but i think she is refraining from worrying me with the possibilitys. She went to grab us some lunch whilst i look through photo's the stalker sent of myself to me. I'm hoping that by looking at them I can think back to who was around at the time. Why can't i remeber? I guess i wasn't looking out for a stalker, but i usually pay attention either way. I recieve a notification and roll my eyes, Enid does this everytime, i tell her what i want and by the time she gets there she forgets. I open my phone to a message, exept it's not from Enid.
The stalker. Theres an image of me sitting at my desk, this was just taken.

I shoot up from from my chair and towards the balcony door, that must have been where they took it. It was just taken, where have they gone? They couldn't have gotten far. This is giving me a headache. I sit back at my desk before i pass out or something. "Hey." Enid says as she enters. "Uh-oh, you looked spooked." She says.  I glance at her and back at my phone to concider telling her, i know i trust her and we're working together but i don't want to scare her. "What is it?" Enid asks less cheerful but concerned. "Another photograph." I say showing her the message. "Was this while i was gone?" She asks. I nod in response. "Maybe we should look for them." Enid suggests. "I looked, they're gone." I say. Enid sighs sadly, she can probably tell i'm bothered. She stretches her arms and leans towards me, i back away confused. "What are you doing?" I ask. "I'm trying to give you a hug." Enid chuckles. "Why?" I question. "You're obviously upse-" She begins, "I am not upset." I cut her off. She moves away from me and stares down at everything we've gathered. "Lets eat!" She says smiling.

Enid's POV:
I know this thing's bothering Wednesday, i know her. I wish she would just talk to me, though. We finished up lunch and i somehow convinced her to hang out with me outside of stalker buisness. I told her it was a suprise mainly because i want to go shopping and the less i tell her the better, she hates shopping. "Where are we going?" She asks annoyed. "Come along." I say skipping. She follows behind me and stops next to me, "Whats this?" She asks staring at the building in front of us. "My favourite bakery!" I answer. She rolls her eyes and hold the door open for me, "Awh! What a sweetheart!" I say glancing behind me after walking in. We walk towards the counter to order. "What do you want?" I ask her. "I'm not hungry." She replies. "Two red velvet slices." I say to the woman behind the counter. She hands me a brown bag with our order and i search my bag for change. "I got it." Wednesday says handing the worker $5. "Thanks." I say smiling.

I managed to convince Wednesday to accompany me with shopping she didn't buy anything, though.At least i got to distract her. "So  i was gonna go to Yoko's for a bit, some others will be there it's kind of a small welcome gathering for the new students." I say as we get back to our dorm. "Okay." Wednesday replies, i don't know why i expected more. "So, wanna come?" I ask hopefully. 
"No."
"What? It will be fun!"
"I need to catch up on reading."
"Fine, i'll be back in an hour."

I enter Yoko's dorm to the sound of loud music and voices. "Hey, Enid right?" A tall male with dark hair says within my first step. "Sorry did i scare you?" He asks. "Oh, no. I just didn't see you. Yeah i'm Enid, how'd you know?" I ask. "I read your blog before coming, i heard you have all the updates."  "Yeah, well i hope you got the info you needed." I nervously giggle. "Wednesday Addams is your roomate, right?" He asks before i had the chance to walk away. "Yep, she sure is." I answer. "Is she as scary as she's described?" "Nope." I say slightly annoyed, wheres Yoko when i need her?  "Enid!" I hear Ajax shout. Finally. "Sorry, got to go." I say and speed off before letting him start another conversation. I walk towards Ajax, he doesn't look happy to see me. Maybe he's mad about me talking to the other guy. "Where have you been?" He asks.
"What do you mean?"
"I messaged you, days ago."
"Oh, well i said i'd be busy."
"Yeah, with no explination."
I look around the room hoping to see something to spark some kind of idea in my mind of how i can defend myself. "I'm sorry." Is all i  can say. "You know what, forget it." Ajax says annoyed. I follow him as he walks away. "Ajax!" I shout over the music. "I think we should break up." He says.
