Enid's POV:
Wednesday took longer than usual to get ready.
She said it's because she was 'planning'.
Extremely vague as per usual.
"We're going out, by the way."
Wednesday says.
"You taking me on a date, Addams?"
I ask, she doesn't answer.
Time skip- 30 minutes
Wednesday and I are on the bus, I assume we're going to Jericho.
I don't know what we'll do, but it's the only place around here people go for entertainment.
"You're quiet."
I point out.
She hasn't talked the whole way here.
"I'm always quiet."
She answers.
"Yeah, but not with me."
"Enid..."
Wednesday seems worried.
"I know things are.. complicated. I'm not used to it. I guess I'm having a hard time coming to terms with this change. I was thinking I could set up a date, I know yo like it and I think that's right. I've never set up an event like this before. I wanted to ask for your advice, but that would ruin it."
Wednesday says. I know it sounds bad that I was smiling the whole time considering she's worried.
I just adore how hard she's trying.
"You're doing perfect."
I say.
"How? I am supposed to be taking you out and I have no idea what we're going to do."
She says.
I find it funny the way she twitches when talking about romantic things like dates.
It's cute though.
"Leave it to me."
I say.
