Summary: It's been a few months since you've been to Fredbear's Family Diner. With school letting out for the summer, you and your brother are excited to return to celebrate! You're especially eager to see your golden bunny friend again! Will he remember you?

"Peter!! C'mon, hurry!!"
You were tugging your older brother by the hem of his shirt, the ravenette playfully groaning along. "But (Y/nnnn)," he moaned, "The museum opens today! I wanna go see the new exhibit!" "You can see that after!" you assured your older brother, grunting as you tried to pull him forward. Peter caved at last, and you stumbled forward, not expecting him to release his pretend protest. "Alright, fiiine~," he hummed. You pouted back at him, but you couldn't stay mad for long. His gentle smirk and soft gaze meant no harm. You decided you could forgive him for now. Besides, you had more important things to think about! Right now, you had made it to the entrance of Fredbear's Family Diner!
You awed up at the sign a final time before walking into the diner, hand-in-hand with your older brother. A waitress greeted you at the front podium and Peter paid the fee, explaining to her what the two of you wanted. You bounced on your heel, too excited to listen in.
The place hadn't changed much-- some tables and chairs had been rearranged, since the last time you were here, they had been set up for Easter. Now the place looked more like the cozy eatery it was supposed to be, with arcade cabinets lining the walls and facing each other in rows along the back. In the center of them was the wooden stage where your beloved bunny was half-heartedly drawling out a song with his best friend, the golden bear whose name you had forgotten. Spring Bonnie's eyes were idly scanning the crowd as he plucked away at his guitar, before finally landing on you.
Your cheeks lit up and you nearly jumped, shooting your arms up to wave ecstatically at the bunny. Spring Bonnie's ears shot up with his eyelids, and he seemed to grin wider. Suddenly there was a bounce in his step and a genuine lilt to his song, the bunny springing to life just at the mere sight of you. You giggled and pulled your brother along as soon as he finished talking with the waitress.
"I wanna sit near the stage!" you chirped, but as you scanned the tables, you found they were all full. You pouted, trying to find anything close-by, but there weren't very many options. Not ones with a good view of the stage, at least. With kids and parents running around, streamers and balloons hovering over tables, and the occasional waiter or waitress skipping from table to table, any view you could get was limited. "Why don't we play for a little bit first?" Peter suggested, noticing your glum. "A family might leave so we can snag their table!"
You beamed at his idea and nodded, eagerly taking the tokens he offered you to find a game you could play in the meantime.
"Spring Bonnie seems a bit livelier now, doesn't he?" you overheard a woman mutter.
"Oh, yes! I wonder what happened?" hummed another.
"Maybe his battery finished recharging?" A man mused, chuckling when he was met with confusion. He began some sort of explanation, but you weren't interested in the talk of grown-ups. Instead, you placed your focus on your mission!
You trotted through the rows of games, searching for anything to catch your interest. The ones that appealed to you the most were too tall for you, though, and you had already lost sight of Peter. You sighed to yourself, resolving to come back for them later. Peter was always more than happy to pick you up so you could see better!
