My socials has been quiet lately
Not a single light of blinking messages
My friends didn't even ask if I got home safely
After we had one too many beverages
My emails have been all the same
Apart from the spam and subscriptions
Why do I not have any work to claim
I need money for my prescriptions
My messages have been dry as of late
By this time my mom would be asking for money
Or even ask for a small update
To make sure that my nose hasn't gone runny
Where has everyone gone by?
It's like no matter how far I've gotten
No matter how loud I cry
Seems like I have been forgotten
This is what I deserve
For being useless to society
My legacy has nothing worth to carve
For the choice I made to pass quietly
